Cafe Barbosso

We ordered Cafe Barbosso catering for our small, intimate wedding as a recommendation from a friend of the family. The food, especially the eggplant Parmesan was absolutely delicious and a family favorite. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were so easy to work with during the ordering process. It was nice to talk to their team on a personal level versus most restaurants these days you just submit the order online. We haven’t dined in, but we’ve heard the restaurant is beautiful and great ambiance. We are looking forward to dining in next time we visit Siesta Key. Thank you Cafe Barbosso team for helping make our wedding day perfect!

What a great little spot! It has become our go-to for Italian food. The owner regularly visits the tables and makes sure all guest are happy and provides input on some of the chef specialties for the night. Service is great from checking to the tables never had an issue! Their expresso martini is delicious. I would recommend doing the chef’s table at least once where you get the experience of different foods from around the world. Don’t feel like cooking? Their family meals are plentiful with good choices and great price!

Food was delicious, service was attentive, Chef Joe DiMaggio is an excellent host with the most. Definitely will become a regular hangout. Updated; we partook in Chef Joe's chefs tables experience and what an experience it was!!! Amazing dishes, watching Chef in action was awesome. And the wine pairings were spot on.

Amazing food and atmosphere! This gem serves Italian food with a touch of Asian fusion. We had a delicious bottle of Pinot Grigio, the specials: tuna stack (amazing sauce!), carbonara (the best ever, perfectly salty bacon), and the veal saltambuca which was so good - nothing left. Finished it all off with a tasty tiramasu and some bailey's with some sort of amazing whipped cream!

Great establishment. The owner greeted us himself as soon as we walked in the door, which I’ve never had happen in any restaurant. His staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. Highly recommend doing the Chef’s table experience, all 8 courses were 10/10 quality. I live in Upstate NY and I’m already thinking about planning my next vacation to Sarasota again just because of this restaurant. The best dining experience I’ve ever had, and it’s not even close. The artists painting while you dine is such a cool experience, the art is amazing as well. I wish I could leave a review for 10 stars. Amazing

If you want an authentic Italian restaurant experience this is an excellent choice. The service was fantastic and our server also happened to be Italian which was a nice touch. The food was amazing and you could tell that they really care about quality. I would definitely recommend dining at this establishment.
