Peruvian Grill

Lunch at the Peruvian Grill was delicious! I ordered the Monday lunch special and hubby ordered a beef dish. We were both very happy with our meals! This was our second time visiting the Peruvian Grill. We drove over from Venice Beach today just to have lunch since we tried it last December when we were in Siesta Key. Wish we lived closer than Ohio so we could have it again soon! Service was very quick before and during the meal, but it was a little slow getting our bill so we could pay and leave. Wonderful service otherwise.

The location is small, the seating area has a bit of South American decor but you come here for the amazing flavors and friendly attentive service. This is authentic Peruvian food. Killer good. My plate was empty in no time! Maybe I should have saved some to enjoy as leftovers, but I couldn't stop eat me delicious selection.

I placed my order over the phone, the employee was very polite and the wait was about 30 minutes. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. I ordered the Inca cola, chicha morada which was very good, the ceviche, I wish it was a little spicier but still delicious, the tillarine verde with grilled chicken, it was okay not the most flavorful but not the worst either, the bistec a lo pobre, it was good, and the alfajores which were so delicious. Overall, good food. If I am in the area, I will have to go back and try some other dishes.

My friend and I were in search of a place for dinner in sarasota. We originally started out wanting to try a Brazilian restaurant on Clark rd but they were not serving dinner until 5pm o mentioned that there is an Peruvian restaurant I have always wanted to try which was just across the street. We walked in was greeted right away and was seated this place was small but very welcoming. Our waiter who I think might have been one of the owners was very friendly. We ordered the calamari that was probably some of the best I have ever had the Pickled sliced onions were a fabulous addition to this dish it accompanied the squid beautifully. We both had the chicken and shrimp entrée, the portion of food was excellent for the price, the flavors of the chicken breast and shrimp were so incredibly on point, absolutely beautifully cooked and seasoned. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this little restaurant it is a must try 😋

I would give this place a 10 out of 10 rating. Everything is perfect, especially as a member of the exclusive Five Stars Car Club. I want to express my gratitude for having us here. The location is absolutely ideal and the food surpasses all expectations. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was. The service provided was truly the best in all of Sarasota. I am willing to travel from anywhere in Florida just to come back to this spot. There is simply no better place than this.
