Lobster bisque was amazing, and grouper hit it out of the park. Fried shrimp and scallops were equally amazing.
Love this place!! Local and convenient location with free parking in close proximity. Staff is friendly and the view of the bay is lovely. The coconut fried shrimp as well as the stuffed shrimp are amazing!!
My husband and I stopped here on a road trip back home and were greatly surprised by this hidden little gem. We come from a coastal town so we are accustom to water front dining but this place was perfect for a quiet, little lunch onto of the Sarasota Bay. The food was phenomenal and by the time the soups were served, we were stuffed. Yet, onward to the entrees that we were determined to at least try. They were so good in fact, we plowed through those as well! Yet, had to pass on dessert for fear we had gorged ourselves too much!
The scenery was beautiful and the outside seating was well thought out! We left feeling quite happy and full and ended up telling all our family members about it. We even had the great fortune to catch a monarch butterfly and take the most beautiful portraits of it!
10 outta 10 will be back and would definitely recommend!
This was an amazing place. The food and service were amazing. We had the coconut shrimp and the grouper sandwich. They were both delicious. The water views were awesome and the atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful. It's a must stop when in the area!

Great food, great service, beautiful views!!
We just enjoyed s great meal at Turtles! I got a large dinner salad with mango, cranberries, and mandarin oranges, delicious red lettuce! WOW! I had several special requests due to health issues and also because I am just picky. Our server, Olivia, was incredibly gracious about accommodating all these requests and nailed every one perfectly while also getting our orders out efficiently! My husband had the grouper grilled and thoroughly enjoyed it! Even though the restaurant was full it never felt crowded. We loved watching the pelicans dive into the intercoastal and the light over the water as we got past sundown! The key lime pie got a good report from my husband who is a key lime pie aficionado!
Olivia did an awesome job including taking a picture to commemorate our special occasion. I had planned to leave a 20% tip since she was great, but my brother and husband insisted on leaving more because she was pretty wonderful!
I loved the food, the service, the art on the walls, the accessible bathrooms, the views, and the location! We will be back!
Forgot to get a photo of the amazing coconut shrimp but it was so yummy! Sit on the deck outside after a 2.5 hour kayak ride, it was so relaxing. My kiddos got the pasta with tomato sauce and even my picky eater loved it! My husband got a cheeseburger and liked his too! Would recommend
Great ambiance. Outside seating was great. Our server Desiree was outstanding. Ate here two nights in a row. Drinks were great and all of our entrees were very good and a great menu. Very nice views also. We highly recommend.
Turtles was our favorite restaurant find at SKB! We returned there for the last night of our trip. Fun, casual atmosphere, the food was great, and the staff was friendly and accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed eating on the deck also.
The view was espectacular, the services were amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely will go back to this restaurant.
The food is really good here.I also enjoyed the drinks.. Is great peaceful area on the island. Right across from turtle beach and it is the perfect spot to relax. The service was very friendly. We will definitely be returning soon.
Took about 5 minutes to be greeted and sat but after that everything was perfect. We started with the buffalo shrimp appetizer which was delicious and the shrimp were big. We had the grouper sandwich, the wedge salad and salmon pasta, all I would highly recommend. We ended with the dessert sampler which is perfect to try all 3 desserts they had. We sat outside and a storm was starting to come in but all the associates worked together to get the outside covered for the rain. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
Delicious food & great atmosphere! It's been a tradition for years when family comes to visit that we dine at Turtles for dinner and then watch the sunset at Turtle Beach! My fav go to is the coconcrusted mahi! And a Pain Killer drink for dessert !
Katherine was an excellent server. The food was good. I had the orange chicken. Joyce had the scallops and shrimp over pasta. There was plenty of everything.

Great food, service and view on the bay. We stopped in to Turtles for the first time to check this place out. We were greeted by our server, Alexandra who welcomed us to what was to become a truly enjoyable visit. We both ordered the shrimp and seafood casserole and I enjoyed the bleu cheese wedge salad. The salad was a very generous and tasty surprise and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. We took some time to enjoy the view and also some far distant lightning flashes over the bay while waiting for our entrees. There was a cool breeze making the visit quite comfortable and when our dinners arrived they were spectacular with a browned cheese crust covering the casseroles. We ordered our dinners without starch and opted for double mixed vegetables which were prepared in a garlic butter sauce and full of flavor. Our server made sure our ice teas were constantly filled. Dinner was a definite success and we actually returned the next day for a Sunday brunch. We do live within driving distance so a return will be planned. Also it was noted that unlike so many of the restaurants in this vacation paradise, Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay actually has some very reasonable pricing which adds to the overall value of the visits.
Given the price for the area it’s good. I had filet minion with vegetables. Veggies were excellent. Steak was a little small but still good. I would come here again. The view from the back is amazing.
I had an amazing experience! Our server Maria was so sweet and very attentive the whole time. I had the Turtles ruby red martini and would recommend! Food was incredible as well, the Twin Maine lobster tails were perfectly cooked and out of this world mashed potatoes.
This is a beloved brunch spot for our family! The orange pecan chicken and haddock dishes are unmatched. The view heals the soul. Definitely worth getting there early to beat the rush!
We love Turtles! The staff were so friendly and attentive from the moment we were sat until we left. There’s a spacious outdoor seating arrangement including a bottom deck and top (covered) deck, we opted to sit in the secluded patio section due to having our puppy with us. The menu had many choices but ultimately we were happy with our decisions of the Mango Kiwi Mahi & Lobster Raviolis and Coconut Mahi. All around great establishment, definitely will be back
