We have been searching for a great authentic Italian restaurant and we have finally found it! Sardinia met and exceeded all of our expectations! The cuisine was absolutely divine! All of our dishes were outstanding! We will definitely be returning! Well done chef and staff!❤️
Excellent Italian food! The pasta is homemade and very thin. I typically do not like to visit Italian restaurants because I feel that they are all the same however this place is a hidden gem. Small but very adequate wine list however no cocktails served. The service is also very good. Because

Fantastic! Chef makes his own Bottarga. Carpaccio di pulpo, linguine with clams and bottarga, vitello Al forno all excellent with a Sardinian wine pairing… Can’t wait to go back and try the fregola pescatore.

Sardinia Restaurant is a must go in Sarasota. This tiny strip plaza mere feet from US 41 and next door to a Thai restaurant hides some of the best homemade Italian food I’ve had. The lasagna is better than all others but let it cool first. You were warned. Make reservations in season.

Amazing restaurant! Went for the first time today and had Ariadna as our waitress. She was so funny and kind. The veal ravioli was amazing as well as the wild mushroom fettuccine. Would definitely recommend!
We walked in without a reservation, the place was packed. Delicious food, great servers and wonderful ambiance! So looking forward to going back again soon! The flavors are authentic and the wine from Sardinia is just devine!
