Julia was our server. Super attentive. Recommended a cocktail when I asked and it was great! My husband and I ordered Hurricane sushi and Hibachi chicken and shrimp to split. All the food was so delicious! Even the fried Cheesecake dessert.
A violinist played popular music tonight. It made for a nice atmosphere.
We will definitely be going back. I now have a new favorite restaurant.

Tsunami has the best vegan sushi I've ever tried, bar none, and I have to go there (a lot) when I am in Sarasota. With a full vegan menu and awesome, original dishes, they never disappoint. If you are vegan and miss good sushi, this will change your life! BTW, if you order the Vegetable Hibachi, makes sure to tell the server you want the vegan one as the sauces they use in the vegetarian version have mayo.

The staff at Tsunami is warm and welcoming. They greeted our group with a smile and were very attentive to all our needs, the service was amazing. The food was over the top! Everything seasoned perfectly, and the fish on the sushi was the freshest I’ve ever tasted. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make a few decisions too! Our cocktails were perfectly paired with our dinners and the fried cheese cake was great as well! I can’t say enough about how great of a night we had! Thank you to the management team and all the staff for making this the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back!

I honestly love this restaurant. I can’t remember the amount of times I’ve come here. The food is always bomb and the service is great. The Paradise roll is great if you aren’t a fan of raw fish but still love a good sushi roll. The climax roll is super good, and I love the fried gyoza as well. My
Boyfriend isn’t a big fan of sushi and says the hibachi is great. Looks like they have a pretty large vegan menu. Food for all!
