Spearfish Grille

My family and I were visiting Siesta Key / Sarasota for a long weekend, had just finished an afternoon boat ride with Costal Conch Charters - who recommended this restaurant - and we are eternally grateful for it! It was a perfect fit for what we needed and wanted - a casual spot with delicious fresh seafood! The calamari was the best we ever had (so much so that i didn’t have time to take a picture - it went VERY quickly!). The lobster bisque had a nice amount of lobster meat and was a nice sized cup serving. We opted to have the Hogfish Taco and Hogfish sandwich - since that is what our amazing waitress “A” recommended - as the restaurant catch it themselves - and it was very tasty! My parents ordered the whole fried red snapper - which was visually fun to look at and yummy! Definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves seafood.

Overall, excellent food, great service, casual rustic ambient .....excellent place for family, crowd and gathering. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor provides daily music entertainment. The restaurant offers their daily fresh catch-hogfish, wahoo, grouper, tripletail, snapper, cobia, and other ocean catch of the day. We ordered conch fritter. $15 for five small conch fried fritters. Mostly dough and unfortunately extremely salty. We could not eat them and told our server about the taste. They offered to make us a new batch, but we declined. At least they offered. Thank you for the customer service. I recommend dedicated that they do a test batch before making so much in bulk. We also ordered seafood stew. Absolutely delish with so much shrimp, calamari, fish, and tomato based. It was very well seasoned. And the two slices of toasted bread were out if this would. Amazing buttered aioli flavor. Awesome sauce! For our entrees, we ordered the grilled tripletail fish with salad and a taco entree with blackened grouper. The grilled triplefish was outrageously delish and fresh. Excellent amount of seasoning sincevgge gush is so fresh. The salad is a mixture of greens with canned mandarin oranges, pickled beets, and crumbled blue cheese. The salad dressing did not pair quite right with the salad. It was too acidic, possibly too much vinegar mixed with other ingredients, which gave it a mustard yellow color. Absolutely too pucker! It tasted ok with the fish just like you would....squeezing lemon on fish to give it a bit of the citrus taste. But, it's not good for the salad at all! Only one negative comment. I ordered glass of white wine. They served it on a clear round plastic cup. Not unacceptable. The reason why wine is served on "glass" not plastic wine glass is to maintain the chill. Touching the cup everytime you drink warm up the wine faster. Trust me, the wine was quickly unchill as I drank it! Wine on plastic cup is unacceptable! Definitely recommend this place to first timers and seasoned visitors. Please give me a thumbs up if youbapprecisyevthe information. Thank you

First time here & it sure didn't disappoint! Informal casual beachy place. We ordered & were served by Giovanni. He was excellent & provided great service. Started out with Calamari & the Tiki Corn. Omg !!! So fresh & DELICIOUS!!! Huge portion. Then had the Taco wrap & the Hogfish was delicious. Overall great place, wonderful vibe. We will be back -)))

This is my favorite place to eat in the Siesta Key area. The food here is amazing. Last week while on vacation my family and I ate here twice. We found this place 2 years ago while visiting Siesta Key, so we decided we had to come back. Last week I had the lobster and pork belly chessy fusilli. I swear it's one of the best mac and cheese dishes I've ever had in my life. It's worth ever penny. The second time I ate here I had the lobster rolls. They were also delicious. The coconut shrimp are also excellent. Lastly, I also loved the pineapple upside cake for dessert.

Cute little restaurant with outdoor seating attached to CBs Marina. Live entertainment and, of course, fresh fish specials. Only sell beer and wine beverages, no cocktails. Excellent service from Giovanni!!! Careful ladies, he has captivating eyes!!! After dinner, we took a stroll around the marina. Food is delicious. Conch fritters, roaster cheese and butter corn, friend Snapper, and a pan seared filet fish with red bean and rice. ( b and r needed seasoning) left fat and happy!

The freedive with hogfish was pretty damn tasty,wife and daughter said best burgers they've had in a long time. Best place on siesta key for fish and burgers. Going back again as service was awesome too The hogfish fried was also awesome when we went back. And was another very good experience , and was plenty of fish

Cool vibes, great eats! We enjoyed lettuce wrap grouper tacos ( yes they offer GF option), kids Max & Cheese with seasoned fries. All excellent! Only thing we were a fan of were the grilled shrimp, but this was just preference, loads love this new app feature! Plus live music is fun! A bit hot in July outside but there are fans!
