The Capital Grille

Up there with one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had in a long time! I ate quite a few things and all of them were decadent and delicious. Some key favorites were their buttery smooth mashed potatoes, the exhilarating prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, and the semi-spicy calamari. I had sampled a bit of the the luxurious double cut lamb which was fantastic, but my main course was the wagyu steak. I have dreamt of dining somewhere and trying this dish, and it was everything I wanted + more! The meat was juicy, a dash sweet, and the umami was off the charts. I was also able to try some cheesecake that must have been injected with ambrosia because of how tasty and rich it was. As for drinks, I treated myself to an In Fashion along with trying an expresso martini. Overall, I had a 5 star experience at The Capital Grille in the fullest sense and would love to return again in the future! Great service and great food!

Not cheap, but this is my go to lunch place when I want quality and serenity. Service is top notch and pace is perfect. You’re never wanting for anything. Lunch for two, sans alcohol, and including apps (not including tip) came to $100. Included the calamari for two- Crisp, fresh and perfectly balanced with peppers for some heat- Best I’ve ever had. French opinion soup- Plentiful amount of onions, generous amount of 3 cheeses, and a flavorful broth. Cheeseburger with grilled onions (I was into onions yesterday) was fantastic as was the small filet my son had. Both came with perfectly cooked fries. I can’t remember the server’s name, but he was a former professional ballet dancer and he was simply the best: he listened intently as I explained I was meeting my son there as a late birthday celebration (late, as in his birthday was in August, however his present was finally ready and I was just delivering it now) and at the end of a wonderful meal, presented him a happy birthday dessert: Something I wasn’t expecting but really capped off a wonderful time.

❤️ The Atmosphere is elegant. Always a fantastic experience. Hosts are top notch attentive, the lady bartender was patient and receptive. I ordered the Roasted Chicken Breast With Mushrooms and Risotto, never fails -always spiced to perfection. Large portions begged for a to go container to enjoy the following day for lunch. I also indulged in a fresh fruit topped Crème Brûlée. It is my favorite and I’m sure you will agree. My meal was completed with an espresso martini, with that all being said I highly recommend all that I have listed above. 🤌🏼🫶🏻

Exceeded my expectations by far. We sat in the bar area waiting for our reservations and never left. The bar tender took great care of us. Knew his drinks and provided great customer service. Great wine list. The food was absolutely delicious. Lamb was high quality, tender, with a beautiful crust. The chicken was mouth watering. They surprised the birthday girl with a stunning birthday desert dish. Fantastic experience!! I highly recommend.

My husband made us reservations here for our first wedding anniversary. We had never dined here before, together or individually, so we were excited to try a new experience. From the FOH staff at the door, to our server, to the sous-chef, everyone was lovely. They had some elegant little heart confetti on the table when we arrived, which was so sweet. Mary took care of us and she was extraordinary! She has the type of personality that makes you feel like an old friend. She made great recommendations and made us feel special. We loved the complimentary dessert and champagne surprise. Besides the atmosphere, the food was outstanding. Everything we ordered (and we definitely made our way around the menu) was delicious and cooked perfectly. You can tell this restaurant is well managed. Everything was very smooth and we just really enjoyed our time there tonight. Definitely won’t be our last!
