Perfection!!! This restaurant is always Exceptional. We ate a few doors down at the cuban restaurant and it was unbearably hot even with fans going in the one of the rooms. The other side that has no fans was terrible. The margaritas tasted like water when I told the waiter about the margaritas I said I taste No liquor in my margarita or my fathers he said " Its in tbere! t's in there! So I guess that meant we had to suck it up regardless. When we mentioned it again we finally got a second margarita and there was no difference tasted like water, no liquor, jjust the taste of lime. Definitely not what I'm used to for an authentic margarita very disappointed. My father 's been flying for the Airlines and going to that restaurant for over 40 plus years and Cafe L Europe. this was the worst experience he's ever had at the cuban restaurant . One ear ago we came to the restaurant everything was great, what has changed? Everything seemed different? the Palomino steak was as dry as leather and so was the other dish that I had very dry tasteless too much rice, dry and not enough flavor. The muscles appetizer tasted great but we only had four muscles each between the two of us and very small mussels for the price I thought there'd be more it was mostly spinach and tomato juice. ANYWAY!! Needless to say we left that restaurant without dessert and went to one of our favorites a couple of doors down to the Cafe L Europe restaurant, every time we're at St Armands Square we eat there.This restaurant is top notch Outstanding and has Wonderful Mediterranean five star food selections. The experience at this restaurant is enjoyable with excellent service and every dish is pure Perfection!! I highly recommend it. They saved our evening. Perhaps it was a bad night for the cuban rest next door and I do feel they should have done more to accommodate our concerns but I'm SO Thankful to Cafe L Europe and staff for making tve evening the highlight of our trip and all they do to ensure that every quest enjoys their dining experience and food. We will DEFINITELY be back to visit Cafe L Europe again soon, Thank you so much. You will LOVE it just like we do!! :(

We always come here, the food is top notch and the service is great.
I often have the liver, bacon and mashed potaotes which is always perfect, so tender. I have eaten many other dishes all are fabulous
We always have the lobster bisque soup and bread best around.
We've eaten at most places on the circle this is No 1 for us.
Outstanding service. Fabulous, fresh menu. Lamb sliders & salmon cooked perfectly. The best key lime pie thus far we have found...sunny patio; great for people watching. Persefoni has a lovely demeanor as a a caring, concerned manager...all around great experience. We will be back for dinner & jazz with friends!
Tonight was our first time eating here. Our waitress Marianna (sorry if i misspelled it), was amazing! She was so detailed to the menu options, and she was so talkative whenever she came over. She has a great personality and at the end of our delicious meal she brought us a piece of cake! I would like you to please acknowledge her and let her know how much we enjoyed her tonight! The chef also made us a yummy dinner! My husband had steak Diane and I had the seafood w penne! We had the whole back room to ourselves as well and it was such a nice romantic setting! Thank you so much for a great dining experience. Next time we are in Sarasota we will be back!!!! Cheers! ��
Really very nice, as the culinary team executes a really great menu to perfection. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend dining here and teasing your pallet with wonderful delicious recipes. Of course I recommend the Filet Mignon with Cabernet-mushroom demi-glace and a side of wild mushrooms. 5 sTarz ...
We enjoyed our beautiful day even more while at this cafe. Excellent service, delicious lunch , I had a salad with avocado's, crab meat and roasted peppers and raw asparagus, all delicious, I would recommend Cafe L'Europe to anyone visiting the Sarasota area.
We went for lunch. I had the fabulous lobster bisque and my daughter ordered escargot from the dinner menu!!! Our server, Alfredo was super!!! Highly recommend.
Under new ownership, Cafe l’Europe is up to my memories of top level food, service and old world atmosphere, with an appealing update. Can you believe that I ate here when vacationing in Sarasota as a teenager?

Really nice experience having lunch with visiting family who invited me to Cafe L’Europe yesterday. The service was impeccable, and each of our meals was beautifully plated and very delicious. Would highly recommend dining there.
This restaurant went above and beyond for one of my best friend's reception. I can't say enough about how kind, thoughtful and wonderful the staff, the coordinator and the owner were. Every detail was carefully taken care of and the night was just perfect! Thank you so much to all who helped with the Matt and Courtney Beebe reception and dinner. And a special thank you to Kiera for truly wonderful experience!

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would. Amazing escargot, beef, duck, dessert, drinks. You name it, everything we got there was INCREDIBLE! Some of the best food I have ever eaten in any restaurant. Braised beef short rib was amazing. So was the peach napoleon. So glad they were able to reopen when they did. I would recommend to anyone looking to have a high quality dining experience. Definitely worth the price.
Food was good, loved the soup, crab cake, duck l’orange was great. Grouper with potato was little bland for me & didn’t enjoy it much. Key lime pie was complimentary for us & its good. Ambience is nice & its dog friendly outdoor patio. Service is great.
Amazing does not even begin to describe how our meal was! MELT IN YOUR MOUTH DELICIOUSNESS!!!!! The quiche was the lightest, fluffiest, most scrumptious quiche I have ever tasted! My hubby had the best eggs Benedict he’s ever had as well. And the French onion soup has an artistic presentation AND a superior taste! The drinks and wine are fantastic and the desserts continue the dining euphoria. The service was excellent and the ambiance matches the greatness of the entire package that is Cafe L’Europe!!!!!
Absolutely love the place! They are made my Birthday absolutely special. Our waiter was awesome, fun, attentive and even photobomb us 😂. Food was great, restaurant is beautiful and clean, we had tons of fun.
Phenomenal service, food, and atmosphere! Top-notch all the way around. We will be back! Duck and scallops pictured. Both dishes were excellent. Highly recommend. New renovations look great.
The host, bartender, manager, etc were all SO so nice!!! I really appreciated how happy and genuine everyone was. I ordered a salad with salmon, it was good. The newly remodeled back room is GORGEOUS.
Went here today while visiting sister-in-law for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was wonderful, nice and informative about the meals and gave suggestions. I had the blackberry drink for a cocktail it was good. For appetizer, if you like crab cakes you have to try them. They are the best I ever ate and for main meal I had shrimp linguini. Delicious, I highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing experience and making my sister's birthday wonderful. We will be back.
We met Chef Will outside of the restaurant with no intention of stopping to eat. He allowed us to try a sample he had created, and he explained the changes of the restaurant. The sample was incredible and we decided to stay and eat. We tried the apple fennel salad and the braised short rib and polenta. They were both good, but the short rib was probably the best I've ever had. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more off the menu. Chef Will definitely made it a great experience.
Very kind people and did not think twice about seating us, in fact, they placed us close to the piano player. The main course was outstanding, the beef sliced like butter. Christian our waiter made sure everything was pleasant. The piano lady played a Spanish song for us and even gave us one of her CDs.
Incredible experience as usual. 3 of our group had filets and they all said they were wonderful and perfectly cooked. One vegan and the chef made special pasta dish. Omg. Incredible. Special vegan cheesecake with berries. Incredible service by George our waiter and the entire team. We really felt special. Went into the Wet Bar for after dinner drink. So beautiful. Thanks for a special evening.
My wife and I went here for my birthday dinner! Our server Juan Carlos was absolutely amazing! The food was also delicious as well and was able to try some new things(oysters Rockefeller and a jalapeño margarita!) Overall for an intimate setting, I highly recommend this place
Awesome place for any special occasion. My fiance and I visited for a date night while on vacation and we couldn't have been happier. The service was top notch and our meals were fantastic.
Amazing food and one of the best service we’ve had. Our server George was so attentive and gave us an exceptional dining experience. The presentation on the caviar was amazing. The atmosphere felt like we were back in a classic restaurant in Paris. It has that European environment. We loved it.
Amazing food. Convenient location. Really liked the rock candy coffee stirrer. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Recommend getting there early in the afternoon. Tables fill up quickly.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We sat outdoors to get that European café experience.
The cuban sandwich with the egg (forgot what it was called) was delicious but a bit hard to eat without a knife and fork. We also ordered the crab cakes.
Don’t skip on the key lime pie.
What a great meal! I’ve been coming here for many years. My dad actually used to work here back in the 80’s, and they even used to have a picture he was in by the entrance. The duck was very tender and the sauce was lovely. Also best French onion soup in the world. My wife got the veal shank and it was fall off the bone tender. Everything was very nice. If they still have the picture with my dad I would like a copy please….
