Michelin dining experience - Every dish is unique to the restaurant. It's easy to recognize that the owner, Emilio, has put love and care into every plate that's on the menu. Quality ingredients, unique tastes, and overall amazing experience. If you like tartar and mushrooms, I definitely recommend the beef tartar - So good!

Delicious meal at La Violetta Rustic Italian restaurant Sarasota! Fresh baked bread, Tris Ravioli, Risotto frito di mare, pana cotta and vanilla gelato. Complete with nice atmosphere and owner Rosa speaking Italian with employees and regulars - always a good sign when native speakers frequent a restaurant And most importantly she was a gracious host!! Multiple parties came in without reservations and she bent over backwards to accommodate! Highly recommend.

Our server was very attentive and offered suggestions that we followed. Loved my ravioli dish, one of the night's specials. My wife had the Risotto Frutti Di Mare. Both were delicious. We also had the Parmesan Cheesecake appetizer, with figs and prosciutto. I never would have thought to combine those items, but I loved it. We had the Panna Cotta for dessert, and it was simply amazing. We'll definitely return.

The food is good, but I won't recommend the lamb homemade pasta dish. It tastes sour. Maybe that's because I was not hungry anymore after waited forty minutes. I will say the service is so so, but they did nothing wrong for sure. Just not as expected. The bread is cold. I will say this is their worst thing. Reservation is REALLY recommended unless you don't mind a wait. They also have a bar. I won't leave bad review, but I won't say it's really good or worth it.

La Violetta is the best of the best! Yes the food is homemade, fresh and outstanding, however, it is the people who make this experience a night to remember. You feel like you are wrapped in a warm blanket with someone bringing you treats! Francesco, from the moment you walk in, gives you that warm beautiful smile, you laugh because yes it’s me again! Back for more laughs and love and delicious food. Food is amazing but life will always be about who you spend it with. La Violetta makes you feel like family!

Ambiance was cozy, and inviting. The noise levels weren't too bad. Service was great, our server was polite and engaging. They certainly appreciate their regulars and provide extra attention to them. The food was, good. Quality all around. Pictured below is their special Risotto, stirred in an aged cheese wheel with shavings off the wheel and black truffles. I will say, I like my risotto a bit thicker, but the flavors overcame that negative. The price is a bit more than I’d want. If you're looking for cheap, this isn't for you.
