Our family recently has my Mom's 89th Birthday Party at the Belvedere. We had so much fun in the bar with Ray. Lot's of laughs and fast service. Then, into the dining room where we found our table beautifully set. Bobby was our waiter..need I say more!! He was so easy going and has a wonderful sense of humor. All our food came out in a timely manner even though they were packed! We all enjoyed our food... it was hot and cooked to perfection. My Mom will never forget her party, nor will we. We'll be back, thank you all.
I always had a Great meal and Great fun at this establishment!!! Fantastic Place for every occasion!!!!
The Bel has the best Chicken Parm. Been going there with my parents for years. They were married in 1944 and went there when they were dating.

Nice family-style restaurant right outside of Saranac Lake. Good food, very friendly staff, and the prices are very reasonable.

Thank you Jerry, Rob and the ladies behind the bar at the Belvedere for an outstanding start to our class reunion last night. The food was incredible, (especially the special) and the service was wonderful all the way around!
Every time I visit the area, The Belvedere is on my list of places I must visit. In fact, its at the top of my list of restaurants. I love the spaghetti and meatballs. Simply the best, not just for the area, but the best Italian food I've ever had!
Great menu to choose from. Definitely has the local vibe in the bar. The server did great with a large party (15+). I had the Hot Italian Sausage meal over angel hair and mixed peppers in. The sausage is made locally with their home recipe. All the other meals at the table looked great. I sampled the Chicken Parm and the Clams and White Wine Sauce which were also very good. I'll definitely check them out again!
Where the locals go to get their casual dining fix. The drinks are large and well made, the food is consistently good and cooked to order. Homemade sausage and meatballs. This is the sort of place you go to relax and enjoy the company of your companions while a great meal is made just for you. Bob the waiter is delightful. And, if you are a local, you’ll almost certainly run into someone you know.
First time in a restaurant since COVID started 2 years ago. Still great food and staff. Will be back again soon.
My husband and I had family visiting from out of town who wanted a "locals" favorite restaurant to have dinner at. We decided on the Belvedere and were not disappointed! A few of us had the chicken parm that was so tasty, fresh and hot when it arrived at the table. Others had the Italian sausage and the scallops, everything was delicious. The staff is friendly and hard working and the bartender made great Manhattens.
The Belvedere is worth the stop.
We didn't get to have lunch unfortunately, but hope to go back for dinner. Lovely bar with gorgeous vintage nottty pine and a warm feel.. The locals were also lovely and made a few recommendations for lunch in town.
