Went out to Santa Paula today…
Driving around just checking things out… saw the smoke... drove by... caught a whiff of that BBQ smell and HAD to check it out. GAWD...! Really good. Beef rib wasn't that meaty but tender. Tri tip was perfect. Pork ribs were great. Bbq sauce tangy and original tasting. 👍🏽👍🏽 Chili Beans were excellent not spicy. Mac salad and potato salad tasted freshly made. Bread was perfect. It's a local SP joint for sure. Every other customer the staff knew them.
It looks like a dive from the outside. But the aroma will get you in. Seriously.
Reminded me of old school cook out bbq food.
I will take the 25 minute drive from Oxnard and go there again next time I'm in the mood for good tasting bbq. If I had a choice between Best BBQ and Wood Ranch? We’re going to Santa Paula Best BBQ.

Beat dang Tri-Tip and ribs in town. Great Sauce too . Spicy is SPICY so go half and half for best flavor.

The food here is amazing! My boys and I stop by here every chance we get! Staff is really friendly and service is fast. Can’t go wrong with tri tip sandwich or their rice and veggie bowls. Their sauce is definitely the show stopper. Careful it’s spicy!

Prior to my wife’s vaccination shot at CVS, we chose this place as the best to grab a bite to eat in Santa Paula. To our surprise we loved it and it was hinted by the aroma outside. Our meals were great and we would return here for delicious tri-tip and to try out the other items on the menu. Location was well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Happy to have discovered this location. ☺️👍🏻

Tri tip dinner usually. Order medium rare and it's the best and juiciest IMHO. Also the hot 🔥 sauce is best. Chile beans. Extra crisp toast. Macaroni salad is bland.freeze leftover sauce for home barbecue!

You can't get closer to the true taste of BBQ meat you cook at home at this place. Like everything else and everywhere else, seems like quantity is not like before but yet prices have gone up. But if you want good tasting food, this is the place.

Tri Tip there is very good melts in your mouth and not chewy! Also the hot bbq sauce is fire and when I say fire I mean it! They also serve a good amount of Tri Trip the only disappointment would be the macaroni salad the salad had no flavor so pretty much the macaroni tasted plain however the potato salad was delicious. Baked beans tasted sweet so they were ok. Overall this place is great to get your bbq cravings fulfilled will be coming again soon.

I have been coming here for years. The food is great and the people are friendly. Tri tip sandwich with baked beans is my go to, but everything is delicious! Highly recommend.
