Familia Diaz - Santa Paula - Photo album

Very good food, the Chapala fajitas were excellent, well cooked chicken and steak, and the shrimp were tasty - both of them. The house margarita and the chill atmosphere were perfect. But the server was rushed and made me nervous just watching him and we didn't dare ask a question and slow down our
I went here once in person and remember it being really good. We ordered takeout and when I went to pick it up one item was wrong- just the wrong kind of enchilada. The girl at the front was really sweet and had the kitchen remake it. I got home to find that instead of the cheese enchiladas with red
I didn’t know what to expect when I was going in there for the first time. But I was blown away. The food and service here is amazing. It is fresh and good quality. They have a wide variety of options and delicious food. The chips and salsa are also very good. One of my favorite places to eat in San
I was passing through town and stopped in to Chapala with my family… Wow! What a great decision that turned out to be, while Santa Paula has quite a few Mexican food dining options, I highly doubt there are many can compare to Chapala. The food was excellent! The flavors were spot on authentic and
Bad experience got my food cold as ice they obviously heat it up in the oven or microwave but the meat was so cold. My wife enjoyed her food but for me it was a bad experience. The server was nice i still left her a tip. She deserved it it wasn't her fault the kitchen messed up.
I recommend mole enchiladas. The best in town. I have had the same dish for over 3 years at Chapalas and every time, the flavor, presentation and texture is the same. CONSISTENCY seems to be the norm when it comes to enchiladas de mole. The service isn't the greatest, but the food males up for la
I've given this restaurant 3 chances cause I believe in 2nd and 3rd chances, but I'm done with this restaurant. 1st time I was there we waited about 40 minutes then my food arrived dry and cold like it was sitting there and mind you there was only a handful of customers. 2nd time my hard shell taco
Zero stars. Unfortunate since this used to be a decent place. My mom was a regular here for a long while. Got there early to avoid a crowd since it's Cinco de Mayo and have a 1 year old. Waited 15 minutes before a server took our order. Another 15 minutes for the server (who in her defense was new)
