Review Zapparelli's Pizzeria - Santa Paula

We ordered a BBQ Chicken special online. 1. Delivery ETA was 6:23. It came just before 7pm. When I called in to ask about this, they said the wait time is usually 2hrs and this wasn't their problem. Okay, if I had been warned properly, fine, but you gave a 45 minute estimate and almost doubled that. Set expectations properly. 2. The "BBQ Drizzle" was just a river that smothered a couple pieces and didn't touch the rest of the pizza. 3. A huge swath of the lower part of the pizza had no toppings or sauce all together. Nothing about this pizza was worth waiting this long for, or the high price.

This is my second time getting the gluten-free pizza from here. I wanted to wait to do a review because sometimes after eating something gluten or if it's cross contaminated an episode won't happen till later. "NO EPISODE'S AT ALL" Even it being gluten free, it tastes so good, The crust is a little thick but with gluten-free bread that's normal. Literally the best gluten-free pizza that I have gotten from a restaurant. If you cannot eat gluten and you want a gluten-free pizza definitely try it here. And the only reason I gave it a 4-star was because it is on the expensive side.

I use to love eater here when it wasn't round-table. Food was just as expensive but the food was great. Now when I order for delivery you better have some time to waist we waited almost 2 hours for our order when they said 45 minutes. It's a shame the old owners retired but good for them. We will be searching for a new place to eat.

I’ve had better pizza at Chuck E. Cheese! Nothing was fully cooked, had to heat up in oven dough was raw. , the toppings not even cooked on my orders thoroughly. Kids running this place.

Terrible Service! 1st time we ordered for delivery they said 1 hour. 1 hour 30 minutes later no pizza we called and the could not find the order then they said oh yeah it will be there in 20 minutes. We let it slide. Today we ordered pizza and then we got a message saying rate our service, we did not receive our order we called and spoke to "David" general manager and he said we delivered the pizza. We said where we are standing at our front door and nothing has been delivered. He said oh we must have delivered to the wrong door! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ He said we can make your order and you can pick it up, really??? We just canceled the order and asked for a our card to be refunded! Big disappointed terrible service! Maybe they should just not offer delivery and make it pick up only🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

Will not order from Round Table again. This is the second time in a row that our food has taken more than 1.5 hours to arrive after being told 45-60 window. I have enjoyed this location for the last 26 years through multiple transitions in ownership and was looking forward to Round Table returning but can't bring myself to accept the poor customer service and lack of dedication with the new ownership. Also, they are now relying on third party delivery services to deliver their product so there is an even greater percentage for issues.

This was the third time I've visited this pizza place. The pizza was ok the first 2 visits. But today, the third visit, was the worst. The dough was not baked thoroughly. For a $30.00 pizza I expected more. I don't plan of coming to this pizza place anymore.

I read the reviews and was hesitant to go bcuz of the bad reviews, people saying they were waiting over 45 mins to an hour for there pizza, but hey i was willing to go for it, and best thing i did, me and the family had a great time, we watched the Dodger game, ate pizza and drank some beers of course 🍻👍. So to me the reviews were BS, we will definitely be going back.
