Paperboy

- Parking: several parking lots surround 3rd street promenade. The one I use is “Parking Structure 4” for 90 minutes free parking, and it opens into the middle of the promenade - Outside: looks like a food court with a balcony, next to Silverlake Ramen - Inside: 2nd floor of the food court, make a right turn atop the escalators - Nutrition: simple pizza, and the taste is all there. Nothing fancy, toppings are plain. - Troubles: might be hard to locate if it’s your first visit. Located in a food court, the restaurant may be overshadowed by the competition of its neighbors. - Summary: admittedly I’m not much of a pizza enthusiast. The pizza is pretty standard for a brick and mortar restaurant, and an improvement over delivery pizza. I feel the chefs are trying to stay with the adage that less is more, and it kind of works for this pizza.

The shroom and leek pizza Track 5 was five stars. But the service was more like 3, so I compromised with 4 stars. They left our pizzas under a warmer because they didn't have the dressing we asked for for the salad so instead of calling us over (it's a get a pager for when food is done and come get it) they just left it under a warmer and when the people after us got our pizza, we went to counter to ask. First response was you'll have to ask the kitchen....uhm, so can you ask or get them out here? And salad was just a big bowl of argula though on the menu it had shaved parmesan and other delights. While we were eating, we overheard that another couple's pizza was burned so yea, the food was good albeit a little cold when we got it.
