Visited this place last week on a weekday for dinner with my colleagues. It's a small restaurant with a bar. They serve complementary bread which was really warm and delicious. They have some pasta ready to order or some that you can build on your own. I tried their build your own and ordered rigatoni with basil pesto. The quantity is good enough for one person. The pasta was delicious and had a strong garlic pinch. Avoid basil pesto sauce, if you do not like the strong garlic flavor. We also tried their fluffy pillows and they were also good. The place has a nice ambience and was not that busy. The food took some time to come after we placed the order, but it was okay as we were busy chitchatting. The staff is also very friendly and courteous. Parking can be a challenge on a busy day. It was raining when we went, so it was easy to find a spot. Overall a great place and will surely visit again.

We were happy to visit a new restaurant location in Santa Monica, but we miss the old Frito Misto place. For the last 30 years their menu hasn’t changed much. Spicy Shrimp Ravioli is still there after 30 years!!! Back then price was $11 and now $24 😉. Great service? Great food! Fantastic place for family and friends ❤️🍷

Fritto Misto is an amazing find! My 'create your own pasta' was delicious and a generous portion. My boyfriend loves the Cajun chicken dish. The chicken is tender and not fatty or gross at all. The food came out quickly and the employees are very kind and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

Fritto Misto is the single best restaurant i have ever been to. Me and my boyfriend have been coming here at least three times a month for the last 8 months, and it hits every time. The pillows with garlic cream sauce is so fresh, the cheese is so soft and warm, and the garlic cream sauce is the perfect consistency and richness. The pasta is made super fresh and they also bring fresh warm bread to your table which is unreal with the sauce after you finish your pasta. The rigatoni is equally as fresh, and with a perfect pink sauce to compliment it it's been a frequent order of ours. The service is always quick and our waters are never empty. Fritto Misto will be your favorite restaurant of all time.

Amazing! Almost think that being served from a bartender is the best deal. We had a great lucheon with our family as our water was alao the bartender, alot of good suggestions.

Walked by and decided to try this spot because it’s so highly rated. Got the fried appetizer and will say it was underwhelming and not worth it. I also got the short rib ravioli and it was amazing, would definitely recommend.

This place was top tier. It was my first time here and it was such a good experience. We ordered the sausage and pepper and the puttenesca. The food was delicious. We also had a lemon bar for dessert. Thank you, Roberto, and the staff for a wonderful dinner.

Frito Misto is an interesting italian-inspired restaurant. They have good interior design that captures my eyes. Their pasta selection is masive and they taste good. Unfortunately, it was a bit bland to my taste. But, a touch of cheese will make the dish great! We just have been to other establishment which has tastier food. Nevertheless, Frito Misto is a great place. And they offer a generous portion! Lovely place in Santa Monica

Had dinner here with a friend for my first time. Service was nice and portion size was good. I had the chicken marsala with mushrooms and it tasted a little bland, not much flavor. Mushrooms were a little firm, could have been cooked slightly low longer. Pasta was a little al dente but I still liked it. My friend had the chicken piccata with the white sauce and it was more flavorful. I would probably come back and try it again.

My husband and I went there for our first time and have nothing but great things to say! The food was very delicious. Our waiter, Juan Carlos G, was very welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend the Cajun New Orleans Pasta. Definitely going to come back soon!

Amazing place to be and amazing atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly. They let you customize your pasta. I ordered the less creamy shrimp pasta with broccoli and it was amazing. The drinks were very good too. Would visit again.

This is one of my go-to spots for pasta, The garlic shrimp pasta is by far my favorite, so much so that I have not deviated from ordering this the last five times I’ve been there. I really love this plate for the flavor and because they do not skimp you on the shrimp, they give you a lot of shrimp unlike other spots who might just give you four or five pieces of shrimp and charge the same. If you are really starving a good choice would be the lasagna, it could honestly feed like 3 people, easily. I’ll add that every time I’ve been here, the food has been consistently good.

Cute little local place with a nice atmosphere, good food, generous portions, and great service. The atmosphere feels very friendly and welcoming. Kind of cozy. Not super upscale but but nicely done. This is a great place to take a date that will impress her with your local knowledge. (I think it's too late to impress my wife, but I'll still bring her here because it's a great place!) The owner (Robert) greeted me at the door and was extremely gracious. The server, Juan Carlos, was also very attentive and helpful. I tried the special, a tenderloin over pasta with a mushroom sauce. It was excellent. Very savory and filling. I also had the Caprese appetizer. It was fresh and delicious. I almost got the chicken piccata. The young lady next to me had that and it looked delicious. This will be a regular stop for me on my visits to Santa Monica. Hope to bring my wife here because she would love it. Good food, good wine, nice atmosphere!

We had a table for six reserved. The service (Kevin) was excellent. I also noticed the busboy was really on top of it. The portions were huge, and could be smaller? What was also noticeable was that there were a lot of happy faces at this restaurant. It reminded me of the pre pandemic days.

Actually a very good find! The food was so good! First, we were served VERY fresh bread. It was so soft!!!!!! Then the calamari arrived. It was not heavily breaded so you can still taste the calamari and the dip it comes with was refreshing. The Garlic shrimp was very nice and creamy, you can really taste the flavor of both the garlic and the shrimp, 2 flavors which tends to easily overpower the other. As for the atomic pasta it was comfortably spiced, again focused on the flavor with a decent kick from the spice! Definitely would come here again. Additionally, might bring my mom since we recently found out she's allergic to egg AND wheat which makes the transition in finding delicious food very difficult for her and guess what? Fritto misto allows you to modify your own pasta and they offer egg and wheat free options! Isn't that amazing??
