We went to Jimmy D's for an early dinner yesterday. We absolutely loved everything about this new restaurant. The staff is attentive, the decor is very retro and so refreshing. (No red pepper garlands hanging on the walls here.) It's light and bright and the art is lively.
We ordered the meatloaf sliders and the Philly Steak sandwich. Yummy. Have the crispy cross cut yam fries. Best I've ever tasted. Chef Jenn adds her splash of gourmet to the high quality offerings and plate presentations.
Our server, Scott was attentive, and Stuart the GM, stopped by and greeted everyone personally. Who doesn't love another Texan transplanted to Santa Fe! Our dear and beautiful friend Nikki warmly welcomed us like family. Though only open for just ten days, this place is destined for greatness.

I stopped in at Jimmy D's for lunch and was so happy with the food and service. I don't usually write reviews for restaurants but this one deserves a rave. The two specials, one soup and the other a pizza, were both excellent! And the wait staff were obviously well-trained and customer focused. Oh and the milk shakes are awesome and a throwback to how milkshakes should taste! A real delight for a Santa Fe day!

We each tried their smash burger with green chile and cheese. Excellent! Good size, juicy, cooked perfectly. Service was great and the beer selection is good and cold. We saw some folks having a late breakfast and their plates looked very generous. They are in the location of what used to be Santa Fe Bite. I really like what the ownership has done with the interior, lots of bright colors and cool comic book and music memorabilia. We will definitely be back.

We went to Jimmy D's for lunch last Thursday. It was the best! I had the chicken salad sandwich which had crunchy bacon and came with the most amazing side salad with sunflower seeds and a great house dressing. A great recommendation from our server. My companions both had the fish and chips with remoulade dressing, it was unusually good, very crunchy. The curly fries disappeared quickly. To top it off, we had freshly brewed coffe and key lime pie with toasted meringue. The service was excellent. Wish I lived closer to try everything on the menu!

The menu is fantastic. They have a daily Pizza that changes. I had the red chili pizza it had onions and spinach it was outstanding. Also that day was a special chicken wings with Chipotle ranch dip. My friends have the Jimmy D's Burger curly fries and said it his outstanding.

Just left Jimmy D's!! If you are in the Santa Fe area you must stop here for great food, amazing atmosphere and the best service anywhere.
From the waiters to the general manager....everyone made us feel right at home.
The food was excellent. But, save room for one of their homemade desserts!! The pecan pie is to die for!!
