Everything was awesome here! The food, the beer selection, the customer service, and even the atmosphere were all fantastic. Making Mexican food in socal is very competitive, and the Alamo can definitely hold it own in this market, not only do they serve delicious authentic Mexican food they also have a few homemade creations of their own. I highly recommend for any occasion from date night to family night out.

This place is kind of a hit and miss....but when it's a hit your meal can be enjoyable. Kinda scary how they layout their salsa bar though where everyone can have access to it.....these times of covid...it's pretty scary.

ONLY WARNING is if you plan to drink here take an Uber because one margarita has like 6 shots in it. Otherwise AMAZING I’m obsessed with this place and try to go here as often as possible. Incredible service they even give my dog snacks for free 😍

Busy lunch crowd. I had fish plate, it was okay. They have a full bar which surprised me. The patio is large but inside seating is very small. I'll give them another chance.

Came here because it's a popular recommended restaurant, but my husband was not impressed. We had a long wait and it's kind of expensive for what it is, just plain old average food. They put 3x as much chicken as they do cheese in their quesadilla and the salad was soggy.

Our first time here seeing the patio not packed with people. This is a local favorite and we saw our chance to get in before the dinner rush. If I didn't have to be somewhere later in the evening I would still be enjoying the good food and more drinks. Looks like every table complimented their food with the famous margarita pitcher or beer. I wish the beer was colder but may have been due to all the fixings that go into a Michelada that made it a little warmer then I'm used to. This looks like a mom and pop place and customers and owners all called everyone by name. Felt like I was eating at their family table. Will be back when I can spare a few hours to truly enjoy.

Apparently they don't let the employees keep the entire tips. Unbelievable, don't expect good service when your server doesn't keep all the tips.
