This is my favorite tea room in New England to date. I try to make it out there at least twice a year. The new owners have truly livened up an already wonderful menu.

Loved the experience at the Dunbar Room! Such a cute place, wonderful service, lovely teas and just a novel idea. I really enjoyed the presentation of the tea service. The food got four stars just because it was just as expected, it was all good but nothing that stood out as WOW amazing. But for the experience it fit right in. Management may want to consider getting mini-splits for air conditioning, at least in the room we were in that just had portable AC not doing much. All around would highly recommend!

If you want the ultimate experience of being fancy and feeling like you're on the set of Bridgerton... Go to the Dunbar house Tea room in Sandwich, MA, because they'll give you that true experience. It's not really associated with Bridgerton and all, But the little teapots and the tiny cups along with all the fingers sandwiches and other little treats definitely gives you those kind of vibes. My fiance wanted to check out the place so we made a reservation online, got there as soon as it opened around 11:00 a.m., sat outside too cuz it was wicked nice out. We ordered one of the afternoon tea combos and for the two of us it was actually plenty of food. There were some little finger sandwiches a little thing of desserts, and some scones that came along with our combo. We each picked our own flavor of tea, she got a green tea and I got a black tea called Paris, It had notes of vanilla and caramel and was probably one of my most favorite teas of all time. I would definitely be down to either getting that again or trying something new. An iced tea would probably be a better idea considering it was probably 87° outside but we both went with a hot tea. Regardless, our server was awesome, she gave us all the best advice and recommendations on what to get and answered all of our questions. It was a really good time and we're definitely looking to go back.

Lovely meal, excellent salad, loose-leaf steeped lapsong oolong tea done just right, after touring Sandwich Glass Museum across the street. Take an empty water container. There is an old grist mill and bubbling spring nearby ,where you can fill it.

This is such a nice place. We sat outside in a beautiful garden area, however inside is very large and has options for seating. The ambiance is what I would expect from a quintessential tea room. The tea selections are amazing, it was hard to choose! Our server was very helpful and nice. The food was also delicious, very yummy scone that matched perfectly with the tea! Definitely going back.

I absolutely love the Dunbar Tea House! It’s a staple each time I visit the Cape—between the yummy treats and the teas, this place feels like a warm hug. All of the employees are kind and the service is consistently great.

Emma and Crystal greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Scones and tea are as delicios as any tea house in England... we vacation in England often. Tania was our super awesome server. A must eatery when you visit Sandwich. The owner Kate runs a enjoyable tight ship.

A favorite spot for a unique experience. Loved the "high tea" served with Paris tea (my favorite type). Added the lobster salad croissant for an upcharge... so worth it and delicious! The lemon tart and scone were outstanding, along with the accomodating, friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Planning on returning soon..

My first time here. I was impressed with the decor, ambiance, service and the flavorful tea and scones. However, Was Not impressed with our $80 “champagne afternoon tea for two” - way overpriced for what we got. Jam portion was too tiny to split between 2 people - see teaspoon of jam pictures below, Then look at other reviewer pictures where others are half full. Definitely a day where they skimped on accompaniments. The “fruit” was one grape split in half, one strawberry split in half, 2 blueberries all in a tiny cup, for 2 people. I chewed tiny egg shell pieces that were in my deviled eggs filling (a side order). Sandwich pieces were ok. Cucumber sandwich was Plain white bread with a very thin layer of cream cheese and one paper thin cucumber slice. The top tier had an abundance of petit desserts, including Christmas cookies, but would rather have had less desserts and more filling in the sandwiches. My 1/2 of the bill with tip was $57 … way overpriced 'tea time'.

Lovely place for brunch, lunch or tea and cakes. In the nice weather we sit outside and watch the ducks in the pond. Perfect place to go with friends and not feel rushed. The portion sizes are not over the top but tasty-I think it’s so you have room for scones or dessert
