No exaggeration! My butter burger only had 1 pathetic onion, no sauce, and the large fry i oelrdered was barley enough to cover bottom of container. See photos. And took FOREVER!
The good things are how cheap it is and how good the burger and shake were.
The bad things.. those fries are thin enough to fit inside a straw, the tamper proof seal was in the entirely wrong spot and the service speed was so slow. There wasnt even a barcode to scan for the steak and shake rewards
Their shakes were unavailable. There were no prices for most of the combos on their menu. They also got my burger toppings wrong. I asked for no onions extra pickles and they gave me onions and no pickles. It took like 6-7 minutes with only one car in front of me, which wouldn't be a big deal excep
No inside dining.
The burger patties were a little mushy like to much fat added.
But in all fairness past burgers have been very good.
Online said close at 10. Ordered at 9 and was missing most of all my items. Food was made sloppy and threw it all away. Went back to have it fixed and place was closed. Food looked disgusting and would never order here again. Thanks for a bad experience.
They have made it so you order on a screen, and seat yourself then walk up to get your food. The food wasn't great, and some was made incorrectly... I think it was more of an understaffed issue than anything else. Still sad to see this place go downhill..
Horrible. Couldn't even ge in to eat. They closed the dining room an hr before closing time. Drive thru only. Was really looking forward to eating here.
While I used to be fond of this Steak ‘n Shake, I got food poisoning from my last visit here and it was not a fun experience. Wouldn’t recommend to others, clearly some major improvements need to be made here. All they have going now is a great location nearby many of the hotels in Sandusky and not
