Review Melt Cedar Point - Sandusky

Amy Lowe
Our sandwiches and cheese triangles were delicious. The fries were lacking, cold and blah. The service was also less than good really. It wasn't due the the Melts fault, we were at the Cedar Point Melt. It was just very busy. People were everywhere standing in lines all around us while trying to eat. Our server, when she was around was very pleasant. We did at first receive the wrong tables food as well. Would definitely go back to Melt, just not at Cedar Point.

This is one of my go-to restaurants. Whenever I go to cedar Point. We have kids and this is right next to the kids rides so it is very convenient and a great place to sit down and have a moment of peace in the chaos of the coasters. The food is fantastic. I usually order salads and have had just about all of them. The kids love the mac and cheese too.

Food was good. Service... Eh. Went on last day of cedar point and they were out of a lot of stuff. Too expensive. Drinks inconsistent. One had none to very little alcohol.. one had plenty and was dark with flavors. Prices were stupid high. For what we got. P.s. drink passes are no good here. That's dumb.

I would like you point out that I love all other Melt restaurants. But this place was insanely overpriced, the portions were smaller, and it was the most inefficiently run restaurant I've ever experienced. There were a ton of people in the back but only one server in the whole bar section (and she was the bar tender too!). The wait to get food was crazy long. The whole staff strolled around slowly with no sense of urgency (which was bizarre given the amount of customers). However, our server was sweet and competent and I felt badly that she had been placed in such a horrible situation.

Great place to get out of the heat and enjoy a cold drink and good food. Try the Miami Vice! Josh was a fantastic bartender!

Pretty solid spot for park food, I'd definitely go back. Great place to watch a game while your on the kiddie side of the park

So besides having an almost 2 HOUR wait at Cedar Point, they have 3 servers on staff on the day we went. Food came out lukewarm at best. Nothing wrong with the taste of the food, it just didn't come out like it should. Was also missing the chicken on my chicken bacon ranch Mac n cheese. The food's flavor was the only thing saving it from a 1 star review.

For an amusement park restaurant they were on there game. Waitress was awesome. Wife and I split a pulled pork sandwich, fries and order of onion rings and two drafts. Food was pretty damn good. Not cheap but nothing about Cedar Point is. $38 plus tip.
