Review Tgi Fridays - Sandusky

Mike Adams
The food is not great. We had a 10 people in our group. The steak was tough. There was a hair in my food so I stopped eating it. There are not a lot of food options around Cedar Point so I guess beggars can’t be choosers. The burgers were just ok. Drinks were fine. Overall, I would prefer never to eat here again. Mainly because of the hair in my food.

Boring and overpriced. Slow service, and food that tastes mediocre at best. The coasters get bigger because our food portions get smaller. Should have a much better menu. There's better food off the peninsula.

While at the Hotel Breakers we wanted to get a bite without having to spend a ton in the park and Fridays was located at the hotel we were staying at. We have it a go and apart from what seemed like a smaller menu it was an average TGI Fridays. The Mango-Henny Lemonade I had was delicious and a nice balance of Sweet and Hardness of the Henny. The chicken sandwich was about in line of what I was expecting from a Chicken sandwich, a nice crispy chicken with a kick from the aioli spread. Fries were golden and crispy, service was a tad slow but understandably as it look like it was pretty busy

The only reason why this is 2 stars instead of 1 is because they comped the steak they had to remake twice after sending it out raw to the point of deep red inside and bright white fat. It was inedible. Twice. The experience was awful. The host told the 4 top in front of us it was going to be an hour wait. They declined to wait and when we went up, a 2 top, they said an hour and a half wait, but if we waited it was going to be rushed because it would be like 30 minutes before they close? Then why are you even still seating people if you're going to just kick everyone out at 10? So we decide to sit in the bar instead. We sat for 25 minutes without even being greeted. There were 4 bartenders. We are very understanding we know they were busy but not even a word or acknowledgement. We saw another couple sit on the otherside of the bar that was greeted within 2 minutes. Once we got greeted the service was fine. And then we hear our name called for our table after about 30 minutes of being at the bar. It seemed like the host was trying to deter people away by saying the wait was going to be that long and that we would be rushed. I would rather eat domino's every night we are there than go back to this place. Would not recommend wasting your money here.

It was my second time ever at the TGI Fridays and I wasn't expecting the portion of salad to be so big. I wish they warned me when I was ordering it so instead of getting two salads we just split one. The taste of it was ok, we were not given dressing options and that part I wasn't happy about. I usually don't use ranch in my salad and that's all they had to offer. It's not a place I would like to go back to, but I'm sure there are some other things people enjoy about this place.

Alright dude straight up. I'm not going to lie this place wasn't like cheap but You're at Cedar points so what do you expect right? For theme park food the price wasn't bad I guess. It was delicious though I have to say that and it we got our food pretty quick with all things considered. They took pretty good care of us I spent the day drinking and swimming at the beach so I was starving by the time I got in here. I bashed out though and fell asleep soon after.

Great first day of 2022 operations, our waitress in the bar area was extremely charming. Crispy fried chicken, hot and chewy pretzel sticks... I may eat like a five year-old but they did a great job.

Seth, Ky, Morgan and Tony did a great job with the drinks. They kept them coming in a timely fashion. The food was great and the drinks on point. Define worth the 30 percent tip. Keep up the great work!

Great food, great time, excellent waitress, & excellent lake view! Plus at the point nothing better!

The menu wasn't what they have posted online. $16 cheeseburgers and $9 beers, a bit pricey, but good service, just not worth $100 for 3 people (including tip) .

The only reason I gave a two is because our Waitor Kameron did a great job. But I have to say, the food was abysmal. It was as if the food was heated in the microwave. We were very disappointed!

It started off with the hostess trying to sit four of us in the back corner basically on top of this couple who had three more people coming. So we asked to go where all the open tables were, & they made that very difficult. The service was slow and some things were forgotten. Only good thing was the view outside.

I almost want to leave and not pay. The manager asked if we were ok after waiting for over an hour for our appetizer. Then refused to walk back by us. We stay at the hotel once every other week and will never come back again. Food was cold. Not busy enough to even warrant our food being late or cold.

The plus...server was nice and attended to a spill. The minuses- This is our second family dinner at this location at the Breakers Hotel and our last. The food service is VERY slow. And, as others have mentioned, the pricing is nearly double for the mediocre food quality. The hotel should consider bringing in new management or a new franchise because this does not match the hotel's ambiance nor their continuing efforts in high quality.

We had a great lunch here during a very busy day at the park! Luckily, since this restaurant is sort of off the beaten path of the chaos that is Cedar Point, we walked right in, got a table, and were very well taken care of. The service was attentive and accommodating, and we had multiple managers check on how things were going! The prices are higher than a standard Friday’s location, but that’s expected at a destination. Other than that, no complaints! It’s one of my favorite places to go for a meal while I’m at Cedar Point.

You list hours of service for Sunday but you're not open?

Good food, friendly staff clean restaurant. Not much else to say, typical Friday's.
