Review Thirsty Pony - Sandusky

Food was adequate. Very loud. Service was lousy. Almost non existent . Dropped off our food, and never saw him again til 10 minutes after finished. Waiting on check. First time in years that I only gave 10% tip Beer was good. No wonder there isn't a price on the menu for the watered-down mixed drinks, in the souvenir cup. $32!!

Man what a great experience! We had great food. Even with an order mistake it was handled properly by the staff and management. I will return as soon as possible!

Even though it was right before close, the bar maid was very nice and attentive. Awesome service, great food, good atmosphere.

A bit pricey probably because of the area. Ordered fried pickles for appetizer which were amazing! The Mac burger was delicious, pretty big was full off a couple bites. Our waiter was super nice too, and we ordered the souvenir leg from Christmas Story with any alcoholic drink you wanted which is what I’m sure they are known for.

This place highly recommended. We visited with 3 other couples. Great waiter. Fun decor. Nice environment. We all agreed it was good food.

This is definitely one of the most unique restaurants. The drinks and food are amazing and the atmosphere is like no other. Strongly recommend! It's a Sandusky staple!

Casual atmosphere, excellent food. On vacation with the whole family. Our waiter(Chris, I think), was great! We were being silly and having a good time, he was patient and answered our questions about the menu. Had a blast!

Was better years ago, service was extremely slow , food was so so the wings we ordered where like fried chicken and dry asked server were the sauce was she replied at the bottom of basket lol that’s when I showed her the grease from the fryer, asked 2 times for silverware nope had to get it myself, bad service so so food won’t make me come back

Used to be or favorite place to eat while visiting Sandusky/Cedar Point, seems service and food have gone down hill, wasn't real impressed with either on this visit.

We have always passed the Thirsty Pony on our trips in to Cedar Point. We finally stopped there on our anniversary weekend. It was so much fun! The waiter was wonderful in telling us all the good food he liked. The menu was HUGE! We took his word for it and went with the wings. Delicious! We then made our way to the bowling alley. Pretty cool place!

Food was amazing! Server was very attentive. Hostess was severely lacking. Waited a long time to get sat while there were open tables and she was getting tables....drinks? Always a line at the door. Not a good impression walking in, but it was a good experience once we were finally sat!

Not only was our service awful but the waiter and manager were clearly talking about our table as we left. Two dishes were messed up and one was served 55 minutes after we ordered with no apology. Highly unprofessional.

more than just a hotel stay. Hotel was old, no elevator. But had a bowling alley, party rooms. Had indoor water park, kind of small, I did not use this. Had a nice restaurant/sports bar. with good food. Right by Cedar Point drive, which is why I picked it in the 1st place, last day of the Point. I would go back, saw OSU beat No #2 Penn St. You can do a lot here. Hotel needs a makeover.
