Dub's Drive-in

They have always been known for their ice cream, but I remember the food being good too. Its only as good as the cooks. All three orders were simultaneous, but they didnt serve even close to each other. One order was given for someones to go I think. My hamburger was cool and undercooked, the tots were too well done.

The first time I tried Dubs, it was fairly quiet, and I thought it was a decent burgers and fries joint, nothing pretentious. My next trip, it was also not a busy time, but I noticed it seemed no one was cleaning the tables and the fries tasted like they had 2 or 3 times the appropriate amount of salt on them (seriously, you should be able to shake that much salt off a fry). But today was the worst: it was busy, and it took nearly 20 minutes to get my food (burger and fries). The tables were again not clean, and it didn't appear that anyone had that duty. My fries looked like they'd perhaps been forgotten in the fryer and extra few minutes as they were very brown to the point of being inedible (but hey, still very salty). And my order, a PLAIN cheeseburger, was swimming in ketchup. As I didn't have another 20 minutes to spare to get another one, I just threw it in the trash. I don't know if they should drop the food options and stick to ice cream only (which seems to be the employees' primary focus), but Dubs is unfortunately a dirty fast-food joint where the food isn't fast, isn't cooked correctly, and can't get the order correct.

Place hasn't changed much since I was a kid giving it a homely warm feel to it. The quality of food is always up to par and has been my favorite burger and shake joint to visit since I was a child. I'm never disappointed with a good Dubs meal and shake and the atmosphere is both friendly and welcoming.
