Utara Brewing Company

We popped in here on advice from a friend since we were in Sandpoint. We had the Saag and Tika Masala roll along with the pickle platter. Also had a couple of their beers. The food was excellent and the service was great. The beer was also good - nothing too complicated and good renditions of what they are. I would recommend this place to anyone and I hope I can go back sometime!

This place must be discovered if you are looking for a pint in town. Found this place by luck walking around town and was not disappointed. This is a welcoming bar with a nice atmosphere that is definitely not pretentious, an open space and their brewery equipment right behind the bar where they serve you. They make good and honest beer. The employee was friendly and knowledgeable. If in Sandpoint, check this place out!

The brewery is extremely clean inside, but still comfortable and welcoming. They also have a wonderful patio if you want to enjoy the outside. The beer list is usually 6-8 beers, all brewed in house. I love their pale ale. Most of the beers I’ve had are a touch malt forward, but well balanced overall. The food is amazing. Very, very fresh and full of flavor. I love the Pakoras as an appetizer and I usually opt for the Korma or Tikka Masala. They are very open to making items vegan or gluten free. It’s been hard on ALL the restaurants in town this summer. This spot has been crushing it, and I love having it close by! That’s a review.
