Great Mexican food. Authentic flavors, good quality and prices are affordable too. Location is rather nondescript, entry thru a long hallway into a windowless restaurant. But don't let that all fool you. This is a legit place.

My wife and were working late far from home in San Mateo. We were hungry and tired when we saw an open sign on the window of Taqueria El Nayarita, went in at 1 am after they just closed, but they served us anyway. Amazing Tamales. Super nice people and we are greatfull for their service.

Was excellent!!! Perfect for that late night munchies when everyone else is closed. They even serve beer and great tacos!! Amazing food and experience!

This place so far is hella good for a quick moderately priced meal. Just if u order delivery always call them and confirm ur amenities like ketchup/salsa/ sauces and stuff cuz they don't read the notes it's like getting Chinese and no soy/chilie sauce 😓

So, I've debated ever putting this review up. This place is so good that I considered keeping it to myself. But that would be wrong.
After all, who am I to deprive you from the greatest Al Pastor taco this side of the Yucatán ? Do it. Go. They are open late.
Also - great ambience when the jukebox is playing rancheras.....Staff is excellent! Always kind and professional

Ordered carne asada regular burrito, dry and stale! Not worth it for $10. Also place was dirty and sticky floor, how hard is it to keep your place clean??!! Must be all the homeless people hanging out side.

Order extra Tortillas I didn't receive it. I went to ask and they have them to another table.. !!!!!!!!tell me why the guy whent to get them from the table and give it to me... I saw them eating it at the end I didn't ated them 😳😳🤮
