Nice little place on the South side of SM. I really like the clean and comfortable decor. The person who helped me was friendly and greeted me right away. I ordered a red eye and it was pretty tasty. I plan on trying their food menu next time.
Got an excellent latte and a very nice toasted Almond Butter and Strawberry sandwich. I'm a 275 pound dude, so everything seems small to me... I won't hold it against these folks. A small latte (10-12 oz I believe) and the sandwich was about $11. Little pricey, but you don't really go into coffe
Perk Up has a great environment and even better coffee. Good for talking, reading, or studying. Friendly owners and fair prices prices for the high quality of drinks. Loved the Almond Butter and Preservative sandwhich (the AB&J).

Nice little place, good coffee, very fresh and healthy food options. They offer breakfast and lunch options as well as smoothies and of course a variety of coffee and tea drinks.
Coffee is excellent. The personnel is very friendly. A relax enviroment. You will like to spend more time in the place (reading, playing chess, etc) after you are done with your coffee.
This 5-star rating is well deserved by the owners. The establishment is a fairly new addition to San Marcos.
