San Marcos Bbq - San Marcos - Photo album

We've tried quite a few BBQ places in the area. This BBQ is pretty good and it doesn't require sauce. The prices are very reasonable. The hatch sausage was a treat. The sides were cold. I think the loaded mashed potatoes has potential. The Mac & cheese was flavorless. But, I don't go to a BBQ joint
Stopped by while training in San Marcos and the sausage had a crisp snap to it with some spicy kick at the end. If your looking for a decent place for barbeque this is the place for you.The pork ribs were ok and I say that as they were a bit dry and bland. The brisket was a bit dry dry as well and c
If your looking for great BBQ with the best friendly service this is the place to go. We were greated with smiles and kindness that I have not seen in a long time. Shout out to Pedro for remembering our names as he said goodbye when walked out!
Omg this place is the best! The ribs were to die for, smoky and tender. The Hatch Chile and Gouda sausage was amazing. The loaded mash potato side was so tasty too. The staff was super friendly and worked out a better price for our meals based on what my husband and I ordered. No frills atmospher
Love San Marcos BBQ! We've had several items from this place and have never been disappointed. Also ordered a smoked turkey breast from them for Thanksgiving, and it was amazing! Rings of dinner in space if you are interested. Staff is super friendly.
Both locations are great! I personally prefer the I35 location since it's more convenient and I love the drive thru option. I love everything on their menu. Their brisket and turkey are my favorite. We actually buy our holiday turkey from them every year! Friendly service and reasonable prices.
The I35 location always disappoints. Asked for lean (twice) on my brisket and got nothing but old fatty pieces. Asked for bbq sauce and didn't get any.
Moistest, most tender, and savory brisket I’ve had so far in the state of Texas. And yes, I’ve gone to a lot of brisket places. The hatch Chile and Gouda sausage was great. The potato salad was also delicious! Good and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
