Food was awesome.
Chicken fried steak and eggs were top notch. Some of the best gravy that I ever had.
Apple Fritter Pancakes were very good. The pie filling on top was a bit much, but I took it off and put butter and syrup and it was terrific!!!
Our server Mikai was great. Good personality and very helpful.
We will be back!
I rarely visit Apple Farm, but when I do there's always a random thing I notice. This time I noticed their prices have jumped up a bit likely due to inflation? But also, the table we sat at was inexcusably sticky. The server gave it a quick wipe down but it definitely wasn't sufficient. We endured. His service though, was impeccable, and knew the menu inside and out. Additionally, two of our food items were incorrect, but the server noted and entered them in correctly so it was just the food prep that got them incorrect. We didn't send the plates back. Accidents happen!
We had a lovely time at the Apple Farm restaurant. The wait to get in was pretty short (despite us having 6 people). The food was super filling and a good portion. Our service was so great (thanks Mary) and we loved meeting the baker, Paul, who gave us so much info about the items he had made that day. The pricing is comparable for the area.
BEST BURRITO in SLO. genuinely one of the best breakfasts i've had in a long time.
Quaint restaurant. Not our first time eating here. We have eaten here several times over 20 yrs ago...it was better back then. That said however it wasn't necessarily a bad meal it was ok, just very greasy and expensive for what we got in terms of quantity. Their housemade jam/fruit spread is absolutely amazing, my favorite part of the meal. They do not package it for selling in their bakery which is a disappointment. The restaurant was in need of some tender loving care. Tge corner above our table had a huge black widow web with flies trapped in it. Tgat was a definite turn off, especially when paying top dollar for a mediocre breakfast. Service was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst. Just a bit if a disappointment for us based on our previous great experiences and meals we've had there in the past. We took a stroll around the gardens and mill house which was lovely. Giving it 4 stars because of their fruit spread/jam otherwise it'd get 3 stars.
The restaurant is very warm and cozy. The apple cuisines are exquisite. We love the apple pie and apple dumpling. Also, the corn bread is unforgettable, especially when going with their honey better.
They serve very thick soup here, which may not be our favorite. The boysenberry jam is nice, though the boysenberry pie is a bit too sweet.
Absurdly delicious breakfast, a pleasant, cozy atmosphere, and friendly yet unobtrusive staff :) I'll be eating here every day during my stay at the Apple Farm Inn
This is a beautiful venue with an excellent eating experience, but their current COVID procedures are significantly less than desirable. It was still very tasty food, though!
Food and service was awesome. They gave big portions.
One word, delicious!! The tomato basil omlette was recommended. The robust flavor of basil awakened my senses. The raspberry jam that was made that morning was perfectly paired with the sourdough toast and fresh brewed coffee. What a delightful way to begin a Sunday Morning. The service from our waitress Abby was over the top. I truly hope this restraunt makes it through the continuing struggles of the current events. The core staff has been working hard to carry on. I also hope the priveledged public doesn't judge to harshly. All this and still serving food fit for the gods. If you are looking for a greasy spoon this is not the place.
