Their atmosphere is phenomenal! New, modern, and clean, I couldn’t appreciate it more. The unique almond ice cream is surprisingly good, and they serve juicy shawarma that’s unique in SLO. Damn good place to try something different! Mediterranean food done quite well
I crave their garlic sauce! You can't go wrong with any selection at Jaffa. The salads are huge, topped with tons of meat. The gyros are packed full of goodness. They've even got a selection of beer and wine. The baklava is a perfect way to end your meal (or start it, if you can't wait). The s
This place is one of the best Greek Cuisines we have had. I was so upset to finish my food, seriously. It was so delicious! Better yet, we checked in on Yelp and they gave us free ice cream, and since it was our first visit, they gave us free Baklava to go. Best experience. Must go!
The portions were good, the taste of the food was good, lots of meat. Only, the lamb didnt have a strong taste of what lamb tastes like. I have had it before at a middle eastern restaurants and the meat was more moist and had a more lamb taste to it. I still would come back if I am in town again. W
I come here all the time and I absolutely love it! The pita is soft and doughy, the meet is fresh and well flavored, and the sauce is amazing. I always ask for extra of the tahini sauce because it's always good. Service is fast and convenient (you write orders on a pad and put it in a bin so ther
Delicious food, and a great selection of drinks and sauces. Prices weren't bad either! If you're wanting some authentic Mediterranean food this is the place! It's not too far off the Highway either (101) so don't be afraid to stop by if you're passing by.
Great food, I always get the gyro plate, the times I have branched out I haven't been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. They keep the place really clean and there is lots of seating. Service has always been quick, which is perfect for short lunch breaks. I can't recommend t
I've been coming here for over a decade, including the old location, and it's always been fantastic. I do miss the wall of drinks they had at the old location, but it's easier to park at the new place so trade offs I guess. There food is always served quick and hot. Get their gyros, either the plate
This is a great lunch or dinner spot with very fast food and generous portions. I often come here for a beer after work with friends and have always been treated very well by The staff. The gyro plate and falafel are always delicious and I love their fresh salads too. Don't forget the sauces and pic
This is a regular place for my coworkers and myself. All the meat is great here! I personally go for the entree plate with extra pita bread. It makes for a very satisfying leftover dinner. The ordering process is great. You mark what you want on a checklist and put it in a box for the chefs. They
Their ordering system is a bit weird, as well as having a pay-after-you-eat system without table service. When it comes to the food, however, it's delicious! I get gyro plates and lamb sandwiches here and it never disappoints, especially with the sauce table that they have inside.
Gyro is awesome. The gyro salad comes with pita with garlic smashed. The hummus is nice with right amount of paprika. Although it's an order and take to your table - they make it civilized by asking to pay "after you eat." $40 for a 3 person delicious meal - can't beat it.
Great staff. Amazing food. I lived in Greece, and outside of Greece, the BEST gyro. The bread is soft and tasty, the meat was spiced just right and crunchy. The humus is flavorful and not bitter. YUM. GO to Jaffa Cafe if you're in SLO!!
Good food, and fun spot! Only concern is the food always takes a while. Took around 25 minutes to get 2 combination plates with only 2 or 3 small orders ahead of ours. Ordering is done from a checklist which you drop off in a basket, this eliminates any need to speak with anyone at the counter so we
Had a great supper with a friend at Jaffa in SLO. Helpful service to customize my order. Falafels were so good! Not greasy or oily, just right amount of sauce on falafel wrap. Highly recommend for good price and excellent food.
Nice little Lebanese restaurant near downtown but not downtown. Outside seating in nice weather, decent selection of beer, (need more choices) and good food at a reasonable price. I usually eat at their Arroyo Grande location but both are serving good food consistently.
I love this restaurant. I have never been disappointed with the food. In fact, my friend and I decided to eat Jaffa in place of original a traditional turkey dinner. Jaffa staff are very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The food is fresh and healthy.
I tried this place with a friend on a whim because we were craving Mediterranean and we did not regret it! I got the falafel plate and it was so good. I think it was the best falafel that I've had in SLO. The pita bread was hot and fresh. Everything paired well with the hummus. Really nice staff too
