A bit of a wait but food was good. It was a bit warm inside would of liked to sit outside. Once they turned on the fans it helped quite a bit. Definitely will eat here again. Staff very attentive.
Been going to Mollies for years! Great place with warm friendly service from the staff. Tried the lobster omelette this time very good!!🍽
In Capistrano for breakfast or lunch? Go here. Food, coffee—superb. Service—friendly and fast. Never an empty cup. 'Nuf said.
The best hot cocoa, biscuits and gravy were Devine and lobster omelet was awesome, my spinach n scrambled eggs filled me up with grits on the side. Will definitely be going back there. ❤️👍
Excellent food I will be back !!! First time there great service little bit of a wait but it was worth it
I am not a local but I checked this place out and I'm so happy I did. Delicious food and amazing service. I had the triple decker club with a side of peaches. Delicious! If I'm back in the area I will definitely be coming back!
Best corned beef hash we've ever had! Definitely make my this a favorite spot!!
This is the best kept secret in SJC - We hit Mollies every chance we get!
Wonderful breakfast, potatoes are a must with your eggs and toast. Coffee is really good ☺
Stopped in for lunch on the way up to LA....
Awesome!!
Wish it was closer to San Diego!
Excellent food excellent service. One of my favorite restaurants.
I only rated 4.5 because I've only ever had their breakfast items, BUT I swear these are the best pancakes in all of Orange County. And their chicken and waffles is on point too. They also have an assortment of coffee creamers which is something you don't see a lot. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Like I said, I haven't tried the rest of their menu, but if it's anything like their breakfast, I'm sure it is bomb as well. Def check this place out.
Absolutely delicious!! Such an extensive menu with something for everyone. I had the chicken and waffles which was a huuuuge portion and then my party also ordered the Monte Cristo. Definitely coming back. Www.runitofflife.com
Best comfort food South of Honey Bees in Carpenteria and North of Brian's 24 in San Diego.
Mollies is a "Go To" place for breakfast, brunch and dinner. Dinner crowd is more low key; food is just as great.
Chicken and Waffles now on the menu. Perhaps from my constant ordering and/or requesting it, Georgia finally added it. Two of their best on one plate.

Excellent service, yummy food, fast service and prices are great!!
Great Breakfast and friendly service! Have the homemade apple butter with your toast!
Comfy like grandma's house. Thanks to urban spoon, my husband and I found this little diner tucked in a strip mall. Walked in and was greeted like we were family. Down home, nothing fancy but hot, filling and REAL homemade food. I had a huge club sandwich with fries. Husband had chicken fried steak & eggs. Room was full of regulars. Thank users for helping us find a great lunch.
Great Breakfast!. Great little breakfast place, located across from the train station in San Juan. Hot and good food- especially the coffee- extra hot. Good assortment of breakfast items- something for everyone- and not your regular eggs, toast, bacon and pancakes. Make sure you try the chicken fried steak and eggs.
This place was great! Food was delicious, prices were reasonable and the customer service was top notch. Everyone was friendly, service was fast even on a Saturday morning. Would definitely visit again.

Not sure of the motif is here, but it is definitely lacking the "home town" eatery feel. A little bland and different. The service was fast. The food was pretty good. Not bad. Nothing I'm writing home about or encouraging you to run out and try. But, it is a decent spot to grab a bite when in this area. Has a classic diner menu with decent pricing. Outside seating is usually available, but not on this day.
We had a great lunch here yesterday. We got corned beef hash and eggs with potatoes and toast, a side of biscuits and gravy with sausage, and the machaca with potatoes and beans and this came with tortillas. Everything was so delicious! Our server Kevin was so very nice! He came by off and to make sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything. Can't wait to go back.
Pretty good for a quick bite. We had six people in our party and all enjoyed their food. We tried their chilling on hot dogs, and a few other things. The staff were really friendly and efficient.
We had a couple little issues with the food but our waitress, Gail, took care of us! She was so sweet and on it! We'll be back and ask to sit in her section.
The dining room was very busy so it was fairly noisy.
I went there for dinner with my toddler, the service was amazing, clean place and the food was exquisite, we order a trout and oh my! It was so delicious, Im very happy I stopped there for dinner.
Solid diner experience with better than average food. Only one waitress that we could see from our seats, so service was slow. If I lived nearby I could see being a regular here.
Very friendly staff and good food for a great price. Love the old fashioned atmosphere. Just pick them out of the Google map and felt very fortunate to find it.

Enjoyed a New Years Eve morning breakfast with a friend. I had the Mollie's Country Breakfast, my friend had the Lobster and Seafood Eggs Benedict. Service was prompt, coffee was steaming hot, food was more than enough. Restaurant was packed by the time we left with a crowd waiting to get in. Whether you want a lite meal or a hearty breakfast, Mollie's does not disappoint.
Mollies Famous Cafe is a fun little place that offers seating indoors or outdoors. Fabulous food, friendly, attentive service. The menu has a wonderful variety of options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Large portions. A personal favorite is the turkey club sandwich, I add avocado to my order. Amazing! I have also enjoyed the Black Angus Burgers and Cobb Salad. There is something for everyone here.
Their food is really good. A great place for families too.
Extensive menu. Right by the tracks.
Great fried chicken.
Excellent home style breakfast. Saturday morning this place was packed. Good size portions, but not too much. Service was a bit rough at the beginning with waiter distracted by a rare customer issue, but even then she was clear about not forgetting about us. After getting our order, food was ready fast and service was excellent. (My wife could not drink all her coffee, they kept filling it back up!). If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is also very good.
Great, solid breakfast with generous portions. Tons of outdoor seating. Great varied menu.

We came here for lunch because we were craving breakfast. I ordered the Homemade Scramble with a side of bacon. The homemade scramble is three eggs, home fries and onions. It was good but needed some seasoning or cheese. It was busy and the waitress would ask us a question and walk away before we could answer. I ordered a refill on my water and when the waitress brought to the table it had a bean in the water. The bean was raw but she didn't notice so we told a busboy and he thought it was funny. The pancakes are good and the bacon was delicious.
Great service great food definitely will be back!
They were busy, but one wouldn't notice as they are a well oiled machine! Great job guys and girls.

Feels like a family inviting you into their home. Great service excellent food.
One of the best breakfasts I've had in SO long. I travel a lot in California and this place really impressed me. Great food quality and quick, friendly service. The poached eggs were fantastic. And a slight discount if you pay cash!
Mollies is a great place. It’s always busy, but that is because it is great! We always stop here when going through San Juan Capistrano. Definitely a great place to eat.
