Mariscos San Juan 2 - San Jose - Photo album

This place has been here over 20 years and I am only hearing about this just now one might ask. One of the best fried tilapia I ever had in the US. It’s very neat, made to order so steamy hot, meaty tilapia 🐠 and comes with a side of rice, avocado, tortilla and salad. We also tried the spicy tilapia
I love thier shrimp taco appetizer. I usually order just that for my meal. I believe it has 4 tacos . More than enough for me.
Freshly prepared mixed tostada was delicious. This place is in a walking distance from Japanese Friendship Garden.
Good shrimp tacos, food is fresh and portions are big. Parking is hard to get, we parked two blocks away.
Try the tacos de camaron - that's the best dish on the menu! Loud music does not allow for too much talking. Good beer drinks. If you go on the weekend expect a small wait and soccer games on the TV. Parking limited.
I really love this place!! I would come every week if I could but my husband just doesn't love seafood as much as me. My favorites here are their fish plates with garlic, and ceviche. The staff are very friendly towards me and some are very genuine with their smiles. They also check in to make sure
If you don't mind paying good money for a good amount of shrimps octopus in a hot campechana cocktail. This is the place a little price but is worth it I can't complain for that plus I can prepare it my self also Thanks for the service and a good quality of food
My favorite place for a classic trastada de ceviche and cocktail. The micheladas are the best
Great food with good service and lively atmosphere. Can be a bit loud. Best items IMHO are shrimp cocktail, ceviche, whole fried red snapper.
Food and was great ! I will be returning.
This place never disappoints! We the combo tostada, coctel (shrimp and octopus), and shrimp tacos. And of course a michelada, topped with lime and a shrimp. Tasty and reasonable!
Shrimp, shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp. This place is a great, authentic restaurant.
Very good seafoods n very good drinks.
Great spot for seafood. Everything was super fresh. Kinda tight area and if you go, bring someone that speak Spanish or just speak Spanish. The seafood hotsauce i posted was amazing! Also just order the shrimp cocktail! A must try item! Even if you can't finish it, ask for a to go cup to put it in.
Incredibly fresh and tasty seafood. Today's oysters were so sweet, brought back memories. Shrimp were proudly plump. I always order so much, but somehow manage to eat it all. Service was almost non-existent today, but weekends they're packed and coming around.
I think the main dishes definitely stand out, as well with the sides that come with the dishes, they definitely seem to pay attention to flavor unlike your typical Mexican joints. My only issue is the diversity of the menu its definitely a niche menu that caters to very few dishes.
