Shanghai Garden - San Jose - Photo album

I stopped here with my girlfriend for dinner. It was great. Tried the Shanghai Spicy Chicken, dong po pork, yellow chive bean curd pork, and shanghai style fried pork buns. Everything was good. the Shanghai Spicy Chicken was tasty, I would recommend this place.
Decent shanghainese restaurant. Take away order was piping hot and fresh. We got Shanghai style chow mein, Shanghai style rice cake, string bean beef, and sweet and sour pork ribs. I'll get the rice cake and pork ribs again for sure. The chow mein was a bit too soft to my preference, and the string
Everything tastes great! After finishing our meal I ordered extra to take home for later.
It is closed on Monday. Foods here are authentic Shanghai food. When it’s busy during weekend, service got super slow. But the lady who is at the front desk is always super nice.
on 6/8/2018, i visited there for dinner, the service was great with a young chinese lady, the dish braised pork in preserved bean sauce was v good with no complaint, the other one was braised fish tail was also good except they used tilapia which had little bones, if they used cat fish would be bett
Had their lunch special (Tues-Fri). There is a good number of choices to choose from, ranging standard stuff (eg brocolli beef) to less common stuff. Reasonably priced at $9 too. Soup was a bit overly salty, but hopefully it was just a fluke.
Pretty good restaurant if you like Shanghai style food, which is a bit on sweet side. Service is nice but store layout is a little weird so they only have limited tables for big groups.
I stopped here with my girlfriend for dinner. It was great, the Shanghai Spicy Chicken was tasty, but be warned that it is cooked with the bones in! I would recommend this place.
Kung Pao Shrimp is best, if you like spicy food. Only bad thing is that the chef put over 60 red chilis in one dish. It took 5 minutes to remove all the chilies.
Tried the dong po pork, gee-tsai rice cake, yellow chive bean curd pork, and shanghai style fried pork buns. Everything was good except the shanghai style fried pork buns which I would recommend against getting.
Great soup dumplings and woth the violent diarrhea they caused! So good i didnt care about suffering through a painful night of the trotts.
Good food with very reasonable prices. You should try the "XiaoTiLiangChi" or "BaBaoYa" if you are meat lover. Taste good and amazing size.
Simply brilliant!!
The dishes are good. Prefer to eat after work or lunch time. Not recommended for party or big table.
My fav Shanghai restaurant in Bay Area
