If you are looking for a place with excellent/authentic Indian food, affordable prices (hello inflation), large portions, and don't mind taking your food to the nearest park or home. This is the place for you! A little hidden gem where you have to talk on the phone, ask for w'hat you most want, pick
The somosas and service were great. You really have to call in up front for the somosas as he only makes them fresh. These are times that he is going to give you a few hrs time frame for them. Street parking only which can be an issue at times. Place takes major credit cards and is on door dash
Came here half an hour before closing tonight. I got the samosa chaat and a pound of mixed mithai (sweets). The samosas are huge! They're some of the biggest samosas I've seen at a restaurant in a while considering the size everywhere seems to be getting smaller. The sholay were fresh and flavorful.
Great Indian restaurant, to go only. Sweets were delicious. Food is very authentic. It is an owner operated restaurant which is there for more than 3 decades i believe.
We really liked the samosa chai and jalebi! Good taste and quality.. must try
You get one of the best samosa in San Jose. He prepares fresh samosas, so it’s better to order over phone before going there. Also most important part is, place all samosa orders at once and later do not update order, this owner gets annoyed as he has to prepare samosas from scratch.
Amazing samosas! We had ordered them to be picked up. The owner was very nice and friendly.
Amazing Samosas. Chatneys were the highlight. Jalebi was fresh and tasty. I know lots of reviews regarding uncle but strangely that store uncle was friendly and welcoming. Would go again for Samosas.
best Indian samosa’s in San Jose. You have to call in advance to place a larger order. The owner will likely want you to call him an hour before so he can get everything ready. You cannot order days in advance. You can order the day off/ hour before pick up. If you speak in Hindi, do that. It will
Great food. The owner & his family are good people
Very good Samosas and Goat curry. The owner is very sweet and helpful.
Fellow Indians, In case you're feeling homesick, do yourself a favor and come here for the chats and the Jalebis. P.S- probably the best mango lassi in the Bay area!
One of the best indian restaurants in the Bay Area! I loved the food!
I usually come here for their samosas. The crust is really flaky and has a very good flavor of Carom seeds ( Ajwain in Hindi). The filling is also really tasty. It is cooked to the correct texture and very well seasoned. The cost is also very affordable. They also have a good assortment of sweets as
Went before reading reviews... Glad I didn't read them first, the man at the door is nice IF you talk to him. Not the best I've ever had, but delicious none the less, and the chicken was cooked perfect! The naan was soft and thick the way I prefer it. If I come back this way it will be on my list of
My 5 stars is totally based on their sweets and samosa. I have been their multiple times. I love their Samosa, laddu and jalebi and these are best. Other sweets are good as well. For Samosa and tea takeout, you have to call them before as it takes 15-20 minutes to make those. Their food price very r
