More like 4.5 starts out of 5. A friend of mine tagged this restaurant in an IG story and the food looked delicious. We stopped midday on a Saturday, we were greeted right away and picked our table. We ordered the #3 Lemongrass Chicken with Chicken rice. It came out fairly quickly with a soup brot
Best lemongrass chicken I’ve ever tried. Been coming here since 2017 when I attended SJSU right down the street. A friend introduced me to their lemongrass chicken and no other place compares. Food is always fresh and the owner has always been friendly and attentive. A favorite spot in San Jose!

I have been coming here for 6 years now. The food is delicious, I personally love the #7 lemon grass chicken with sticky rice. Their chicken pho is also great. You can really tell they put time and love into their food.
This is the best chicken soup I've had in a long long long time. I had it for the first time one day when I was sick. I've been back several times and it's consistently delicious.
Very delicious vegetarian dry noodle bowl. It is a must try even if you are not vegetarian. It comes with a broth of either chicken or veggie. Solid lemon grass chicken rice! We’ve been going here for years and this dish is so consistent and delicious. Love the herbs and sauce too - an all around delicious dish.
Hainan chicken rice is delicious, especially chicken. Every order cmoes with o bowl of soup. Although it is located in the SJ downtown, they have parking lot, so it it very convenience.
Legit the best Hainan Chicken rice plate I've ever eaten since having it growing up. (Better than what all my Vietnamese relatives made).
The steamed Chicken is perfectly done, and I recommend the dark meat, and asking for extra fresh Vietnamese coriander. (Rau Ram)

Good place to get hainanese chicken rice. They got really good sauces to go with the chicken and it comes with soup. 10.95 is an ok price point for this. The green bean drink is note worthy as well

The food is everything you could ever ask for in a restaurant. Truly authentic vibrant food served by a Vietnamese couple. Get the chicken, it’s silky and perfectly done served in its traditional cold state.
