Tengu Sushi - San Jose - Photo album

Although it's definitely overpriced, the portions are great and they don't skimp out when it comes to the toppings so you kinda feel like you get your money's worth. I love the sauces they use and the fish is of decent quality. It's just a solid place to get poke especially if you're a college stude
Excellent poke joint. Food was good, rice was nice and warm, and their combos were well balanced and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Yuzu Warrior. The refresher teas they had were quite sweet. The only downside is the lack of indoor seating.
The employees are very kind, and I love the bowl combo I ordered! Thank you, Spoonfish Poke for hooking me up with the best poke in Downtown San Jose!
Fish is always fresh. Add ons are always tasty. Bowl is made to order and never disappoints.
Casual Poke Bowl place in downtown SJ, food is fresh and delicious.
Quality is decent, but $22 for a medium bowl that doesn't even fill you up is just not worth it. Most of the reviews from many years ago say their portions are large, but they must have downsized because their medium bowl is smaller than most Poke places small. I can go to an actual Sushi restaurant
Fantastic poke! Their raw fish is of good quality and other ingredients were in great condition. The portions are super large! Definitely recommend this place. Probably my favorite poke place thus far.
I love spoon fish poke!! This is one of my favorite poke spots in the bay. They're not stingy with the fish and their ingredients are super fresh. I usually get a regular bowl with white rice; 2 scoops of salmon, 1 scoop of albacore; edamame, masa go, seaweed salad (extra $1.75), and all the dry to
I love this place, really filling and good portions. If you follow them on IG or Facebook, you get a free miso soup. Guess what, it's pretty good too! Major plus, they have Dole Whip that is delicious and a nice little sweet treat post a poke bowl. Another plus are the kettle cooked chips you can pu
Nice place in down town in San Jose, with a nice options. Regular dish is enough, because large is too much. It's possible select between a group of combination of dishes or you can select between different ingredients to made your own combination. This place is small inside but have tables outside.
My favorite poke place around!! They're always pretty busy since they're in downtown right by SJSU, but the wait is so worth it in my opinion! Even when they're busy, the food is super great quality and they have pretty generous portions; they don't cut corners! Of course the poke is the star here,
I got a regular bowl and really enjoyed it! Although it is definitely more on the expensive side, you get to add a lot of toppings!
I can't believe it wasn't more crowded, I feel like we uncovered a gem being this close to the convention center and not being swamped already. Tasty fresh salmon and yummy toppings! $16-22 for a bowl depending on size etc, which is right in line with the usual prices for poke.
Man this place has fresh fish but be prepared to pay for it! $22 for a few scoops poke bowl. So fast
Great quality ingredients, very fresh and healthy option.
A really really good Poke bowl. Super fresh, tasty sauces, great flavors. I got the California Coast bowl and it was amazing. Friendly, quick service as well!
They have fresh fish and the girls up front were quick with their service but also friendly and welcoming. I loved it here.
