Easily my favorite Chinese takeout place! Wonder Wok has been my go-to place for a quick meal for a number a years now. I'm moving out of the area and just had what will probably be my last meal here so I actually ate my meal there. I ordered one of their combo plates (fried rice, chow mien & Mongolian chicken) and some egg rolls. My friend also got a combo plate which included fried chicken, sweet and sour pork & fried rice. He also ordered some wor wonton soup. As usual, everything was great. This was my friends first time here and he really liked it and was surprised he had not heard of it before.
This family run place is a solid place for quality great tasting food. They don't have a rotating cooking staff, so you are guaranteed to get the same quality no matter what time you go. This will be one of the many restaurants I'll be missing in the area.
By far my favorite Chinese place to eat. Every time I go there the food is excellent.there sweet-and-sour chicken is delicious
My family's been coming to this place for years and we love it. The food is always hot and fresh and served with a smile. This family-run business is a gem to be savored as the food is cooked with love and you can eat in the cozy dinning area or get it to go as well. If you like fried rice, order a side quart of the pork fried rice and listen as the man fires up his Wonder Wok and begins to make the BEST fried rice I have ever had in San Jose hands down! The regular fried rice is good, but the sides of fried rice will knock your socks off. Plenty of choices from traditional to comfort...they do it all and do it well. Great tasting salt and pepper sparerib. Kung Pao chicken just as flavourfull. Chicken fried rice you can see eggs.
I have been going to the restaurant since I was little, and I am now 43. I have watched the entire family grow up in that restaurant. Mom and dad and kids run it and do all the cooking. Fabulous, Wor Wonton soup!! I've never had better. Huge and delicious pork buns! I love the place so much, I will drive from Santa Cruz to get some delicious food. It is worth the wait!
Small mom and pop business. Food is decent. Prices are good per dish. Good fried wanton, no meat but big, crunchy and crispy. Cooked to order. My mom likes their chocolate chip cookies.
We love the food here.Our favorite is wonton soup,Kung Pao chicken,pot sticker and fried rice.They also customize it according to spice levels.Must try!👌🏻
