Although the lobster bun was expensive at $31, it was good. The lobster grinder was also good even a bit spicy. Anyway, these are not everyday sandwiches. The staff are nice and courteous. One thing that I see needs improvement on is the soda dispenser. The drinks are not that good, except Coke. I woyld rather see the conventional soft drinks on it that the unique ones that do not taste good. Overall, it was a good experience.

My bowl was full of variety and delicious! The greens were really fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! But the kids fish taco was a joke. Look at my picture. Like fish on a tortilla and rice??? My toddler was not impressed and ate my food instead.

Slap fish is a great spot if you're craving some fish. They have a special on the side. Not sure how often it changes but compared to my photos vs other photos posted they were different. Menu is simple. I think I would rather go with the seafood salad. My girlfriend got the power bowl while I got the surf and turf burger. The prices had increased a bit since the last photos as well so be warned. The surf and turf burger was good. It was a bit messy since the lobster was kind of gushing out from the burger. The lobster was cheesy and goopy but thats not a complaint. The burger was cooked all the way through and they didn't give me a choice of how my burger wanted to be cook. It was sandwiched inbetween a potato roll None the less it was a tasty burger. The power bowl was presented better. It was mixed seafood with salad and a side of brown rice. It was the right balance of rich and acidic. They left some sort of dressing on the side which completed this dish. Overall I enjoyed my food. Wish there was a bit more options.

The guy working was super nice and personable! Greeted me right away, have me great recommendations, checked on my several times while I dined in even tho he was working the register. I looove good customer service! Now the food, was Absolutely Amazzzzing!! I ordered the lobster roll and side salad. And wanted to try out the fish tacos, one grilled and one fried! Soooo good! Fresh & lots of flavor! Of course I had to get a to go box, the lobster roll held up and was still delicious later!

I seen the review that Bay Area Foodz did on Instagram and I must say it did not disappoint. We both had the Clolobster grilled cheese sandwich. Which is crab and lobster on a buttery garlic toasted bread. The side of fries were very seasoned and the salad was fresh. The secret side of sauce went perfect with the Clolobster. I will be returning to try the lobster roll. The restaurant itself was very clean had a patio area and the service great.

First time here and had a great time! We ordered the clobster grilled cheese, lobster grinder, fish taco and a small chowder. We read some yelp reviews about the lobster roll being $25 and it’s not that different than the grinder. But in hindsight I think the lobster roll had bigger chunks of lobster meat vs the grinder. Overall the grinder felt too saucey that takes away the flavor of the meat. The clobste grilled cheese, on the other hand, was AWESOME — I think it’s the right mix of meat and cheese. The bread was super soft but toasted. You can opt to have the salad or fries for any of the sandwiches. The salad that I got was a pleasant surprise - good mix of veggies and the dressing was also nice. The chowder was also very meaty, it’s definitely worth a try but I would not say it’s a must. I would return to try their fish bowl or a shrimp roll — I see lots of other people getting the fish bowl which seemed to be a healthy option as well.

Small counter order restaurant with inside and outside seating. Can be quite crowded so share your table if you see someone hunting. Shrimp roll had about 7 medium shrimp in a traditional split roll bun. Tasty. The fries had good flavor with seasoning but were not hot. The shrimp burrito has French fries in it, which is odd, but the meat and other contents were also tasty. The fried pickles weren’t great. They’re a split pickle, same kind as on your plate, in a fry batter that doesn’t do them any service. They would be better sliced into coins. Doesn’t come with a dipping sauce.

Lobster rolls are great! tender and fresh lobster, the fries also taste good. The Mahi-Mahi salad is healthy.

Lobster roll was fantastic. I'd recommend to get it with salad as I saw many other tables did not finish their fries and wasted a lot of food. My spouse also had the poke bowl, which was also very good (but large!). They have a smaller fish and rice bowl for kids and I liked that it came with an apple juice packet drink! Will come back next time!

3rd time here, always quality, tasty and filling. It smells delicious, looks delicious- best casual place for a lobster roll in San Jose. The restaurant is kept very clean, and the decor and vibe are definitely there.

SUPER TASTY AND GREAT PORTIONS! Came here after getting a BOGO deal for their Clobster (lobster grilled cheese). The Clobster Grilled Cheese ($15.50) was SUPER yummy and their clam chowder soup ($4 for cup size) was a great addition to our meal as well! The Clobster Grilled Cheese comes with salad or fries and I (of course) got fries which were super yummy as well!! There’s a good amount of cheese but maybe not enough or they don’t use a cheese that melts well because it definitely lacks a cheese pull. Despite this I still loved the Clobster and would recommend to anyone that wants something other than a lobster roll. Overall: The Clobster Grilled Cheese is a unique and yummy item on the menu and after visiting once, I definitely want to come back and try their famous lobster rolls!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 😋Visited here for lunch on a business trip to Bay area. This place has the best seafood I've ever had - especially lobster roll, fries, dressings and even salad we're so on point. All the fish cooked perfectly and everything tastses so fresh. I think upscale restaurants would struggle to be as good as this fast casual place is. I think il be having lunch here every day I'm in town.

Ordered Traditional Lobster Roll and Clobster Grilled Cheese (like sandwiches) for lunch. I walked in to make an order and get my food in 10 mins. Lobster meat tasted perfect, and both breads and fries are crunchy and delicious. The roll is $25 and the sandwiches is $15 (price includes fries or salad). Overall great value, and will definitely come back again! Btw, They support Apple pay as contactless payment method and ppl need to wait outside the store.
