Tai Pan - San Jose - Photo album

8/4/2023 @ 8:45am. Don't like the fact that yesterday's duck is same price as today's duck. 9/28 @ 5:45pm. All the good dim sums are sold out. BBQ baked bun has lots of fillings. Shrimp ball is large. Everything else is not as tasty after it has been on shelf for hours. Prices are cheaper than resta
porridge here is in big portions and great price . Fast service , only accept cash . Extra change if pay by credit card .
The dim sum section opens @ 8 am & the BBQ section opens @ 9am. The dim sum was fresh and delicious. However, some of the staff speak limited English but overall the staff are helpful and courteous. Also, they only accept cash.
I tried one of almost everything they had. (no sweet stuff) I loved everything!! I would travel 3 hours again to eat these!
Great takeout dim sum place. Full assortment of dim sum offerings. Shrimp dumplings, steamed pork buns, fish porridge, chow mein, lotus wrapped sticky rice, etc. My favorite is the Chinese style fried chicken. Marinating the chicken before frying makes a world of difference, its so good Colonel Sand
The line for lunch was too long. I went for dim sum. So delicious šŸ˜‹ Next time I get to go there early to order lunch menu ā˜ŗļø
Good variety of dimsum at affordable prices. We had some wonton, siewmai, hagao (shrimp dumplings) and fried noodles. The food was good but more American-sized and quite large. Only very few tables but most people take the food to-go. Will come back to try their roasted meats!
This is one of the best quick togo dimsum places. They have meals here that come with a variety of things and a side of porridge. Quality stuff here and super affordable. They also have a huge selection of items and it all taste pretty good.
Ordered dim sum lunch #4. Decent quality and service.
Best Roasted duck in town and great price. It is petfect for togo, not dine in as the space is quite small. On the weekends, there is always a long line, so go there early to avoid standing jn line for 30 minutes plus.
Solid Chinese bbq place with decent portions however, they were already out of soy sauce chicken at 10am or it wasnā€™t availableā€¦
Good place for a quick fix Chinese bbq and dim sum
The food here tastes excellent! Love the Dim Sum and Roasted Duck, Roasted Pork, and BBQ Pork. Customer service could be better, but it's expected in a place like this. But hey! Who cares! They get the job right, price is perfect, and food tastes excellent!
Iā€™m Filipino, not Chinese but Iā€™ve been eating dim sum for my whole life. This place is very good for the price. I was surprised how good the soups/porridge were!! Something that Iā€™ve never seen before was that their fried taro dumpling had peanuts in it. Iā€™ve never had fried taro with peanuts mixed
