Sushi Jae - San Jose - Photo album

Why did I come here? Bad reviews. Yes, really. Call me strange but I was intrigued by reports of rudeness. I wanted to see what was happening. So, I ate here alone once. Then a 2nd time, then a 3rd time. And a few days ago, a fourth time, with a friend. EVERY TIME.... everyone here was so nice. Eac
Pros : The waiters were very attentive. Place was clean and well decorated on the inside. Sushi options were unique. They had average sized rolls. Everything we ordered was pretty good; chicken karaage, dragon roll, Kay special, and something Paradise. Cons : outside wicker walls make the place loo
The standard of sushi at Jae's is always top notch. Every time I want good sushi, I head here.
The food was amazing! I ordered the Croquettes and the Raiders Roll. The croquettes were delicious! Crispy outside and soft yummy inside. The Raiders Roll was amazing too! The spicy crab was spicier than I expected, but it was still sooo good! My partner ordered a Chicken Donburi and a California Ro
Seriously my favorite sushi restaurant. The food is so delicious and the staff is super friendly. They always remember my daughter and I. They even remember what she likes to order. The sushi chef always greets us and thanks us as we leave. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere.
Everything's so delicious! Very friendly! Will definitely be back!
Real Wasabi (for an extra $2 but worth it)! Super friendly staff (you'll be called sir or mam), beautifully crafted sashimi, tasty yakitori, udon, kid friendly spot. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
Truly delicious! We were in the area and just stopped by and it was so good and reasonably priced. We got a few sushi rolls and the ramen was so good
The sushi roll is decent. Will be our go-to sushi restaurant 😊
Sushi Jae is my go-to sushi spot whenever I'm looking for something local, fresh, and tasty! Not only is their sushi presented beautifully, but there's also a wide range of options so you never get bored. I am a huge fan of the Oshinko rolls, which taste great if you are a fan of sour or more tangy
It is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. They have the best rolls and their service is top notch. Be aware of their closing times.
Soooo good. The staff was sooo friendly and the sushi was good. The bulgogi was not 100% what my bf expected but still really good and what do you really want at sushi restaurant? Good sushi. I had the Super Rainbow, the Fantastic and the Vegetarian Rainbow. We also had gyoza. The salad dressing o
I found this little restaurant through my daughter, who eats there quite often and even when she has been away they still remember her and exactly what she wants and how she likes it. The other day I ordered something to go while in town visiting her, over the phone and she waited in the car while I

It's a mom and pop sushi shop that really makes your mouth water and wanting to come back for more. Owners are extremely awesome and remember you if you're a regular. Staff are super attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. The rolls are awesome and the bento box is pretty filling. 10/10 co
Awesome sushi. Taste fresh, great creativity with sushi rolls. Kid friendly! Customer service is great, and quick. Have a craving for a combination, Jae will gladly customize something for you. Location is a little small but clean. Park with ease. Highly recommend this spot. Try it once and you w
A local gem! We don't have to drive 10-15 minutes to enjoy good sushi anymore. The owner is making really nice rolls and everything we had from the kitchen was great. The only issue is that they are new and have not yet found help for the sushi bar. So the order gets delayed a lot on Fridays/Saturda
