Review Kfc - San Jose

I walked in and waited 5 minutes standing in line without being greeted by the one employee at the front while he was busy making what apparently was the 2 orders ahead of me. While waiting I clearly observed 3 other employees in the back of the kitchen. Two of whom were just chatting and occasionally glanced over to the front. Then a third one walked out carrying a bag of buns and hit the other two with it and kept walking. None of these employees even made any effort to help any customers until probably 5 minutes after I had ordered because there was a line. Then I finally had my order taken. I waited 15 minutes for my food with no indication that I was gonna have to wait at all while the next 3 or 4 people who ordered after me got there food. No one asked if I wanted to wait 15 minutes. Then when I complained about my food and asked for a replacement I was told "I gave you two new ones and threw the old ones away". WHY ARE YOU SERVING OLD FOOD IN THE FIRST PLACE!? Was not apologized to. None of the employees were particularly helpful or inviting. This is the 4th different KFC I've been to in the greater San Jose area and have had terrible service at so clearly there is a larger problem here but with how many other restaurants are around me now I will never being going back to KFC especially this location.

Very very very very bad service I have not been back in 7 months maybe eight months this review is done in December of 2017. I will never ever step foot in this establishment again. Placed an order 4 chicken strips chicken tenders whatever they call them what they gave me was old and dried out. Ask for a replacement they told me no I had to get whatever has been cooked already this is around 8:30 at night. The chicken. They replaced it with was the same old and dried out It was not even that hot. Ended up throwing my meal in the trash and walking out. I called the number on the back left a bad review left my phone number and name never got a call back from corporate. I have not been in a KFC sense I'll take my business to Popeye's. And it's pretty sad I used to work for Kentucky Fried Chicken 30 plus years ago customer service has gone to hell.

So I ordered the #5, one leg and thigh piece, I asked for grilled and the cashier told me there were no thigh pieces available. I asked if I could have two legs. Upon receiving my order after being the first people to order in a line of 5, we were served 15 minutes later while 3 other orders were filled. When we got our order we were not asked if we needed any sauce and upon inspection, I saw that my "two chicken legs" were about the size of my pinky. I'm not joking this was ridiculous. I went up and complained. The cashier told me that's how they come out and so I simply asked if he could give me another. He said yes and proceeded to throw out the pieces that were in the box and replaced them with another two. When he came back he told me he "thew out the old chicken and replaced it with newer chicken". Seriously, so if I were to have walked out I would have had chicken that was old?! That's disgusting. Mind you the workers (3 other young boys) were not cooking in the back. While waiting in line they were standing around chatting. One of them seemed to be working but then walked by with some buns and hit the other two while they were standing there. Then they all laughed and moved out of view. So there's no way that this was "newer" chicken. The chicken looked somewhat normal, but still tasted dry. I will never come back ever.

There are many excellent kfc's. This is not one of them. It took them over 16 minutes to assemble my order which was just a single sandwich and when I got it they made the wrong one. For some reason they decided to go out of order and help other people who ordered after me first.

We visit this KFC when we're desperate for real food in a hurry. Plus we like the coleslaw and biscuits. The chicken varies from "we only have xxx, or it will be 20 minutes before your x x is ready or the chicken looks like it's been in the broiler a few minutes too long. Occasionally what we want is there and not overcooked. Overall, we feel KFC is a better not-at-home quick meal than say a fast food burger, so we continue to pick up a meal every so often.

Food is ok. Now I think the food quality and quantity has gone downhill. Also I bought a huge bucket of chicken the other day and I requested no wings in the bucket and when I got home I found 2 wings in there. When I even asked for no wings and the guy at the counter even acknowledged it. I don't think im going back again if that is the way they treat their customers by lying to them and cheating them out of their hard paid chicken dinner!!! Chicken also tasted kind of weird too! Customer service was ok and service was a little slow too

My cashier was childish . Him and his friend playing while making my order. Mind you I was the only customer there . I only ordered a $5 fill up . Leg and thigh ...... it took them 30 mins to have my order ready . They where playing and laughing and copying how I say yes .... bow I don't want to go to that KFC Any more... never have I seen such terrible service... and my cashier name was ( Hector c ) .....(( the day I went in was 9-29-2017 4:09pm )) .... and he forgot my soda cup .. he let me leave the story without my soda for the meal ...

Never ever go to this KFC high school kids run this place. You will get horrible service. Don't believe the good ratings those are the employee ratings. 3rd strike for us and I told my wife not to go here. She bought 3 buckets and only gave us 2. the employee told use they put 36 chicken in 2 buckets. THIS KFC SHOULD CLOSE IMMEDIATELY!!!!
