Paleteria Y Neveria La Original - San Jose - Photo album

Best Mexican Paleteria in San José! If you come on the weekends they usually have a big line but weekdays are more empty. They have a variety of ice creams and paletas, my favorite is coco de agua and Fresa. They also have a lot of Mexican chips that you can ask to add in your snacks.
Several people greeted us as we came in. Behind the counter, they were preparing a huge pile of fresh corn and chopping dried fruit. The woman who took our ice cream order was so nice to my kids as they sampled different flavors. There are many delicious options. We especially liked Angel Kisses and
This place is great the large mangonada is a little pricey $10.50 the regular size is perfect $6.50 it fills you up.... this place has the best mangonada they use fresh mango not the soggy old one... they give you a lot!! Their ice cream is fresh and good too... parking is very limited you might hav
The best neveria to go to in San Jose! Staff is very attentive and super efficient, there is barely any wait times other than when it gets busy since it is a local favorite. The manager Andres is extremely professional, and treated us right. I would suggest trying their Manzana Loca, you will not r
A little downtown side but has parking! They only take cash so bring some. So much things to try but loved what we had! Ordered some mangonadas and fruit with tajin.
Absolutely amazing small mom and pop shop. Excellent customer service every time. They are always on point, items are always fresh. The line can get long but totally worth the wait. Favorite Items I Recommend: Michelagua- fresh fruit water with real fruit mix, candy stick, topped with chamoy and T
Love this place!!! The michelaguas, obispos and ice cream flavors are the best!!! Great service!!! Is a must try place in San Jose.
Icecream is good, the snacks are good and flavor is on spot as well as the consistency, they have a great thing going on here. Just like in Mexico
I like the ice cream there. It's awesome and freshly made. A lot of exotic flavors to choose from. Also have tamales and different kinds of foods to choose from
Try the mangonadas, they are delicious! This is a great place for Mexican style fruits and ice cream treats. We went early Saturday afternoon and it was pretty packed with people, plus there was a steady stream of people coming and going. The staff is very nice and there are quite a few of them to
Where do I start... Fruit with chili Mexican style? Check Ice cream and popsicles (including the spicy ones) ? Check Fruit drinks? Check Nachos Mexican style? Check Duro (chicharrón preparado)? Check! Check Check Check!!! You gotta come and try all the items by yourself..
Never disappoints! Its like a Palatero Man on Steroids. They know what they have, and you are definitely going to spend more then you would with the Palatero Man but guaranteed it will be a bigger portion and the taste will be on point. I got a Raspado de Vanilla and an Elote en Vaso, Chef’s Kiss
The service here is amazing and the mangonada is even better. We may not have gotten a great photo, but it's the best I've had in the East Bay. Don't be afraid to go in even if you don't peak Spanish. Everyone is super nice! We didn't chose to, but they even offered to let us try the different ag
Try the sweet and sour mango with ice cream. Delicious. Friendly. A new kind of place.
Fast service and many options. I ordered a Conchita Feliz, big enough to share. Really enjoyed it, the fruit around it helped cut some of the sweet taste.
It was fast and a very clean place. The food was enjoyable and very tasty! The only reason a took a star off was because it is a cash only place and I had to use their ATM. Other than that... great place!
