The best shrimp fried rice ever!!! Perfectly seasoned. Jumbo shrimp, deveined. And plenty to share. Overflowing with peas, carrots and egg. This dish should be called, "Loaded Shrimp Fried Rice." Great location. Great ambiance. Great service. Easy to order to go and pop by for pickup. I'll be back!
Trying this place for the first time after more than a year since we moved here. Loved it! Very good food! Very friendly staff! They have Kimchi and daikon pickle to go with the meal too. Will definitely be back!
Great hidden gem. My parents stopped by on our way home from SF to Bakersfield. My mom is Shandongese and grew up in Korea, so she was excited to see the Korean words in the window. Turns out my grandma knows some of the owner's relatives from back in Korea! We ordered zhajiang mian (炸醬麵), chao ma m
Great restaurant, awesome tea, so tasty food. Thank you, all was amazing, we ordered few different dishes to share a bit and eat from all..
For starters the place is now called "Phoenix Tree Hunan Cafe.". The food was great, unusual dishes. Ordered five but only got four of them, which they did remove the missing dish. Loved the pork with salted greens, the chicken shrimp rice the fried green beans and the Cajun shrimp. My wife real

Did not have chinese food from this place since Covid started. Decided to stop by today. Owned by the same lady. She's very cheerful and with good customer service. And on top of all, the price did not change. Almost all places increased their prices, but their menu prices is the same. The quality o
Yummy food and super quick service. We usually order to go from home, they say “10 minutes” I get there 5 minutes later and the food is almost always ready. These ladies know how to run a great business.
I am the owner of Taste of China. As many of our customers know, we take pride in our restaurant’s cleanliness and food safety. Heroic Saipan Otaku, I don’t know where you got that picture from but it certainly is not from our restaurant’s kitchen. Happy New Year!
Bomb, been in San Jose a total of 25 years, first time going the other day. Delicious! Fried rice was amazing, nice staff. Thanks!
We have enjoyed eating in & take out both here @ taste of China. I especially like that all the flavors are delivered to the table separate ie: the lemon chicken is not soaked in the lemon sauce. You can add as much or as little as you like. We alway get the honey walnut prawns yum. It’s a bit on
This place is great! The sampler plate is amazing. The chef cut up the shrimp for me in my shrimp fried rice because I don't like big shrimp. The lemon Chicken was good, and also the house chow mein was great! One of my favorite Chinese places to eat now, will definitely be back
Surprisingly delicious food! I've been going here for close to 20 years, but over the last 2 or 2 years in particular the food has been increasing in quality. Large portions and reasonable prices. The Hot and Sour soup is one of the best I've ever had, and the chow fun is also particularly good. Sta
Awesome, as usual. The hunan beef had just the right amount of kick, and the broccoli chicken was tasty, too. Hot and Sour soup for an appetizer was hot and sour. ;-) Food was ready in under 10 minutes, and pick-up was a breeze. Too bad we weren't allowed to eat in. :-( The place has great ambiance.
Awesome restaurant!! Very courteous staff and amazing food. Service is prompt, food is great, prices reasonable and quantity is great. Each dish is almost 2x of other restaurants.
Really tasty neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The food is hot and comes out promptly. Good for kids. (The big fish tank is an attraction, too.) We have enjoyed the hot and sour soup; the cashew chicken; the beef with mushrooms and bamboo shoots; the braised bean curd with vegetables; and the tea smo
