Been going to this place more than 20 years be cause the fish quality is excellent. The service is fast and professional. The room is kind of old that should to be repainted. I went to many sushi places in the bay area but this place stands out among the crowd.

My husband and I ordered the Yuri special plate for two and added a fire crunch roll just in case if it wasn't enough for two people. When the food came out it was more than enough, we ended up taking some leftovers home. I recommend trying the Yuri plate for two if it's your first time and just want to try an assortment of food. However, the rolls were the highlight of our meal and we're definitely going back to try out the other rolls. A little pricey, but the generous portions do make up for it.

I’ve been coming here for years, this place has consistent quality, service and atmosphere. Miso soup is always delicious. I tried the Kelvinator role this time and it was delicious, very substantial role and great mix of salmon, eel, spicy tuna and crab, and jalapeño. Reduced one star mainly for price, roll was $20.25 on its own. That, plus the miso soup, put it more in the $30-35 range once you include tax and tip.

We ordered the sashimi platter, the fried vegetables for appetizer and the rocknroll roll sushi for dinner. Everything was so fresh and delicious. For the sashimi platter, we asked to only have the tuna and the salmon. Both were good. However, the salmon was like butter, yum.
The dinner also came with the salad and miso soup. Both dishes were worth mentioning as well. The salad dressing was perfect and the miso soup was perfectly cooked.

Excellent!!! This restaurant is consistently outstanding in their quality and service. I recommend ANY of the rolls. My favorite sushi rolls are, The Burn and the Fire Crunch roll. The staff are kind, attentive and welcoming to their restaurant. If you're in the area treat yourself!!!

I live in this area for 8 years and I saw this Yuri sushi restaurant with the windows cover up and always wonder what's inside. Today, instead of going to JP town; the kids and I decided to give this place a try. Surprisingly the food was very good. The kids an I enjoyed our dinner here at Yuri, much better then the sushi show across the street that's nameless. Our new neighborhood favorite sushi shop, will return and try more. I would like to see more pictures on there menus, I was ordering blind hoping for the best.

Deliciousness! I've driven by this place for years and finally ate there today. The Sake was good (but weak), the sushi was beautiful and delicious and the ramen (particularly the broth) was incredible! Fast service, reasonable prices. The inside was beautiful, so don't be put off by the exterior.

This place just becomes my favorite sushi place. We ordered a bunch for Valentine’s, even the take-out but totally surprised how fresh the fish are. So tasty! Highly recommend Claire Classic, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, and Chirashi.

Yuri offers some really quality sushi. For example, their spider rolls are made with real crabs, no imitation crab stuff. I always order a spider roll as my base with a variety of other rolls. Spicy tuna roll hits the spot; it’s a good contrast between the heat and the soy sauce. Tako salad nigiri is delectable, not bland like some other places. Cherry blossom roll is good too, just to name few. Yuri’s is the place locals go to. They have been at the same location in east side San Jose for over 30 years!

Sushi bar is open now post pandemic. Try the Claire's classic, the poke salad, the fireball, the rainbow, ....oh try them all! You can't go wrong!
