Came during lunch to come grab a turkey avocado sandwich. Overall great sandwich, plenty of sitting on the inside. I was greeted by an indifferent staff person and ambiance was bland. Free 90 minute parking in the Downtown city garages.

After passing through this place so many times today I decided to have my lunch there and won't be the last time.
Inside, the place smells good, is clean, tidy, and tidy. The staff are friendly and serve the customers as quickly as possible. Its menu is very varied, with options for everyone (vegetarians, vegans, meat lovers, bowls lovers, if you want something salty, sweet, or both.)
I ordered:- Fresh vegan spring rolls- Cured pork sandwich (cured pork, house pickle, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, salt & pepper, soy sauce, and house mayonnaise)- Grilled pork sandwich (grilled pork, house pickle, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, salt & pepper, soy sauce, and house mayonnaise)- Asian salad bowl with portobello mushroom- cookie
Everything was on point and I still thinking about the cookie!

The outside looked like it was located at an old shopping center but as I entered the restaurant it was very nice and clean. They followed the safety guidelines in social distancing. Restroom clean and everything looked sanitized. The variety of food they offer was freshly prepared or baked and the smell to the Baguettes they sell was inviting. Me and my husband ordered, spam and egg sandwiches, curry chicken, steamed pork buns, shrimp spring rolls and chicken n meatball kabobs. Beverages we nice and cold as well and I can say that their staff keeps the entire place clean.

Got a couple sandwiches and drinks for take out. Ordered the #5 and #6 BBQ banh mi. Both were very good, but I’d ask for extra jalapeño or spicy sauce next time. The French bread was good and crispy, the meat was a little scarce, but it was pretty delicious. I also picked up a bag of lychee gummy candy. They were ok by themselves, but putting them in the freezer made them excellent!!!
I do agree with the other review where the ice in drinks is too much, but that doesn’t deserve a 1 star.
I’d come back here if I was in the area again.

Fun fact: my family in Vietnam housed the founder in Vietnam for short time. My parents came to Oakland in 84 and Lee’s founder taught my parents how to make and sell banh mi so they could open their own store.
My parents were happy to hear of how successful Lee became. Small world.

Solid Bahn mi, but the meat was dry. Got Thai iced tea to go along with it, good flavor and balance of sugar to tea. Probably not going back, but mostly because it’s a 99 mile drive from where I live.

Their Vietnamese iced coffee is my absolute favorite. Creamy and delicious. Friendly staff, clean environment, and lots of yummy Vietnamese food selections.

They got me with the "hot baguettes now" neon sign. I mean, how can you resist? I got an egg sandwich with fried spam. Heavy but delicious - you won't need to eat lunch 😉 The young woman at the counter was super sweet and patiently explained to me their special coffee - sounds delicious. I couldn't do because of dairy sensitivity but, wow! Great experience and great price.

Had the Banh Mi and iced coffee and honestly had zero complaints. I can imagine that it can get a bit crowded in there however they really try to accommodate with qr codes in the lines and etc. Honestly I thought I hated banh mis but the large selection of sandwiches will probably appeal to you. The coffee was also really good, however extremely sweet.

Nice service. The employee was so friendly. Location is also pretty strategic. I had BBQ Pork banh mi, and it was delicious and affordable.

I came here with my partner to get bread as we are having soup for lunch.
Each baguette was 2 dollars each. They were very helpful in answering our questions about allergens.
I thought the music was pretty upbeat for 10:30am, but why not.
I was struck by their many options for banh mi. I’m excited to come back and try them!
Also, grocery outlet is right next door, but I don’t like going there because my partner stays for several hours.

old reliable. you can’t go wrong, trust. their premade bentos are yummy but you have to try the bbq pork sandwich. also the vietnamese coffee of course. prices are good, service is good, food is fresh and made to order delicious.
