Mexico Bakery - San Jose - Photo album

Súper clean bakery, everything I tried was delicious. Customer service is great as well, they are all smiles and ready to take your order as soon as you walk in. The only challenge is the parking lot, I would recommend you to park on the street as the parking space is not big enough, it actually to
We visited from Texas because my hubby saw this place on tic toc 🤣 We ordered 2 carne asada tortas, 1 melon agua fresca and a few pastries. The tortas are HUGE, I'm glad they cut them in half because that ended up being breakfast and lunch 😋 They were definitely delicious, with tons of meat and avoc
All the bread they have is very tasty. I'd recommend the arroz con Leche cups and the Carne asada torta. It was definitely worth it. It's a little overpriced, but everything was really good
Carne asada torta with egg. The tortas here are HUGEEEE! So that $12-15/torta is well worth it. Big enough to split with your friend or person. Lots of carne asada, avocado, tomato, cheese, jalapeños. Flavorful and filling. Great value spot.
I am glad I was able to enjoy a very nice torta yum Yum
The BEST torta de asada I’ve ever had absolutely delicious don’t leave this life without having one
Usually a fairly busy bakery with lots to offer. Cakes/pastries of all sizes/flavors, all the pan/cookies you can imagine and tortas that can feed two people. We come for the tortas and usually leave with a bit of everything else. Carne asada torta is my go to, they have all the fixings and I'm stu
HUGE Awesome Tortos. Tons of meat and all the goodies you'd expect in a torta! Lots of people like the asada. I've tried that and chicken, but thought the asada was kinda chewy and the chicken was a bit dry. The chorizo (pictured) was 🔥🔥
I've been to Mexico Bakery in the past for the tortas and pan dulce but decided to grab a couple of desserts for guests at my home. I got some polvarones, chocoflan and a mocha cake. All of them were good but the mocha cake was ridiculously good!
Hands down the best burrito in all of San Jose!! The Meat is A1, The beans & rice are fresh and soft, the avocado is amazing, and everything added just tastes so good. Let’s not forget this burrito is the size of a Baby!!! I’ve eaten burritos at almost every spot in SJ and no one offers this level o
Was craving a torta. Got the steak torta and almost ate the whole thing in one sitting. They are big enough to split into 2 meals. I'll be back soon to grab another one.
The shop is very clean, with a wide array of pastries and other baked goods to choose from. Products tend to be cheap - my conos con crema was a bit under $3. By the way, that in particular is highly recommended for anyone who likes custard-y fillings. Cashiers didn't seem to speak much English, wh
I have been going to both this location and the other location (Santa Clara Street) for many years. Although this place is a bakery, it's well known for having excellent tortas. When I go, I usually either get a glazed donut or a churro to accompany my main dish. Now, if you fancy tortas, this is de
The Food When a friend sends you a picture of a giant sandwich and says "I would like a review". You bet I'll go and get the giant sandwich and do a review. I didn't know Mexico Bakery was a place until that day, and definitely did not know there's a giant sandwich. The giant sandwich refers to tort
This place used to be awesome but last few times not as good. Not sure if the quality has gone down or not as fresh. The sweet bread is just not the same Update: gave it another try, the bread tasted great. Their quality has gone up just like in the beginning. My only complaint now is that they char
Love this place! Every time I come here, the tortas are the same: lots of meat, good price and makes me full. I haven't tried anything else there but the tortas are full of flavor and spicy, which I enjoy.
