El Abuelo Taqueria - San Jose - Photo album

Small but cozy place. The food was very delicious. My California burrito was flavorful and savory, and the carne asada was slightly crispy from the grill, which was a good touch. They have a chips and salsa bar, that you can help yourself to. The sauces are great, but I really loved the Jalapeños wh
Parking in the rear of the restaurant. Kid friendly. Outdoor seating available. Love the Menudo!! Salsa bar and fresh tortillas chips. Food is very fresh and generous portions. Huge menu that ranges from breakfast items to fresh seafood and soup. I highly recommend it.
It's a "hole in the wall" kind of place with great food and really great people. I love the taco salad! Everything I've tried there has been tasty. Comfort food, not health food.
Delicious homestyle hand made food, made to order. It's a bit of a dive, looks like a neighborhood taqueria with Formica tables and plain wooden chairs, tv playing Mexican soap operas, constant, loud Mexican music. But it does seem clean, other than the nasty air conditioning unit has on the ceiling
Hole in the wall! Pico de Gallo is great but not part of the free salsa bar. Costello de camarón and pozole are good!
Delicious Chorizo Tacos! I had mine sprinkled with cheese! My husband had them regular! One of the Best Tacos! Oh yeah we were able to dine in!
Delicious authentic Mexican food at a fantastic price. Staff is knowledgeable and very kind as well. Highly recommend
Found this spot this week, already been twice. All the meats are really good. Highly recommend for good Mexican food.
Guy had a beer and his speaker and I thought both were from the restaurant. They weren't food was fresh , shrimp was big. Will return
Great Mexican Food spot with standard beers. A few TV's normally broadcasting soccer. Old Lady behind the counter is pretty nice. Small and no frills. Great for soaking up the booze after leaving one of the local bars.
The food is aways a hit never a miss. Trust me, i've been coming to "El Abuelos Taqueria" since I was a teenager. They also have a huge vegetarian menu for those who don't eat meat.
I absolutely love this place. My favorite taqueria hands down
This place was bomb. My wife got a super burrito which was delicious and the carne asada fries were on point plus the homemade chips hot the spot.
I really do love the breakfast burritos and quesadillas!
Great taqueria, great prices. The salsa/chip bar is a great addition.
