50s diner all the way. Good omelette, breakfast burrito and burgers. Reasonable prices. Have never seen a wait. Lots of tables.

Came here for lunch with my family before attending a show at the SJ center for performing arts. Their burger was pretty good, if a little small. It took a while for us to get our food even though it wasn't crowded. We did enjoy sitting at the table outside to enjoy the sun, under an umbrella of course. Not sure that I would go back unless it was my only option, but still a fairly good place.

Excellent retro diner with great selection of burgers and sandwiches that have funny and nostalgic names. Good selection of beers and wines to compliment your meal. If drinking is not your thing might i suggest a milk shake they are to die for! Great for family as they have a good selection of items for the kids! A great place to get quick bite before or after a sharks game! Or dinner with out of town guests.

The burgers were high quality and you could taste the unmistakable taste of milk made ice cream in the shake. The quantities were also huge, both my fiance and I took home leftovers. Good service too.

Peggy Sue's is one of our go to places downtown. Mostly a burger place, they have salads and sandwiches too. Their shakes are thick and good.
I usually get turkey for my burger, and it is nicely done.
Much better than any big chain burger place.

Pretty basic, but decently good. Your average burger joint. Not amazing nothing special, but they do have solid milkshakes and solid burgers/patty melts. Quick place if you're on the run.

50's style burger joint. I tried the Gargen Burger (Spicy version) and it was pretty good. Had the curly fries and a soda all for under $9. Nicely decorated interior and very clean restrooms. They also serve veggie sandwiches and wraps along with the usual hamburger items.

Really solid American diner food! This Peggy Sue's has a lot more 50s style than the other one a few blocks away. Quite enjoyed the meal and our shakes!

Great place to stop in pre or post show. Typical diner fare but not bad at all. Order at the counter, service is quick and there is minimal outdoor seating available. The only negative is they no longer validate your parking ticket.

Breakfast was very good. I had a Peggy Sue Scramble. It was tasty and large. Huge portion of potatoes and the orange juice was good as well. Clean inside and the employees were nice.

The milkshakes here are fantastic. You basically get two full milkshake glasses with your order. Eating here gets your parking at the nearby garage validated, so if you want to get parking and a milkshake for just 5 dollars in a great location right next to the Tech Museum, this is the way to go.
