Danbi Korean Restaurant - San Jose - Photo album

Yummy food with very warm and welcoming service by the owner and the server. We went for dinner, ordered 4 dishes in total. My favorite dish is the meat Jung although it looks different from the image on the menu (The only wish for improvement for the meat king is having lettuce on the bottom just l
THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! went here craving some korean food and got some yummy, heart warming stew. i got the old style bulgogi and it was absolutely scrumptious. good size for the amount you pay for. there was a slight wait to get a seat (i went with a party of six around 7 on a saturday). there w
Delicious and authentic Korean food made by warm and friendly staff. We scraped our bowls clean! We got the Yookgaejang (육게장), Old style bulgogi (옛날불고기), stone bowl bibimbab (돌솥비빔밥), and Korean style fried chicken (양념치킨). Highly recommend all of these dishes, as well as the side dishes that are serv
Came here after recently moving to San Jose and didn’t know any good spots but was craving Korean food and this place hit the spot! I brought my mother who has never really tried Korean food and she loved it! We would take a bite of seafood pancake then the cheese bibimbap and then the spicy tofu so
Phenomenal home-style korean food and quick service!! Would 100% come back again 👌
Great Korean place right outside of downtown San Jose! Love love love the stir fry here. The stone bowls, soups, and kimchi is good here as well. Bulgolgi is a little too sweet for my taste. They also have beers and other alcoholic beverages. Free street parking.
We decided to visit here after reading many nice reviews. And it didn’t disappoint. It’s a family run business, with a simple and neat decor. We decided to have Bibimbap and Kimchi fried rice and they tasted pretty good. Totally satisfied with the service and I would visit again sometime.
this place is solid, nothing fancy but the way I like it. We ordered army stew (the name terrible but trust me, it’s a combination of ham, vege, cheese, ramen… can’t go wrong), beef soon dubu jjigae (tofu). Both were good
I am a traveler from Vancouver and stayed in San Jose with my wife for a couple of days. We were so satisfied with the quality of food and warm welcome by staffs here. Nothing to mention any downsides. Strongly recommend to friends and visitors like us to come and enjoy tasty Korean cuisines here!
We had the spicy seafood noodles and the spicy chicken wings. The service was friendly but a bit distracted because it was near closing time. The food was good, but not something I would rave about. Good if you are nearby, but wouldn't go far out of my way.
I decided to try Danbi as it's the closest Korean restaurant to the hotel I'm staying at while I'm here for business. I was craving the cheese chicken dish from Coco Bang in San Francisco proper but didn't feel like making the hour long drive, so I settled on just any Korean food. I was seated imm
Nice restaurant with a modern feel. Food was good but needs a little work with fried chicken to make more authentic
Beautiful service of authentic Korean cuisine. I had the Korean fried chicken and it was perfect . The ladies were super Hospitable as they were almost closed but did not feel like I wasn’t welcome. They take Apple Pay, bathroom was clean, nice clean place with good music .
Very very nice and attentive staff! They checked in on us multiple times, refilled our water without asking, and even ran across the room to open the door for us! Definitely love the food as well. Tofu Soup is always a hit!
Stopped by here for a quick dinner with my parents before I dropped them off at the airport. Best authentic Korean food I’ve had! The taste was light, so delicious, and savory! Great and fast service, will make the 2 hour drive again just to stop by.
