A very nice celebration lunch, even with an 11 year old boy and 15 year old girl. The waitress was very attentive to all our menu changes and constant hot water and milk demands. I had the Venetian Romance with a lovely strong cup of South Africa's Rooibos tea. The most delicious dish was the warm Ham and Cheese Quiche but everything was perfect. Thank you

I love this place. Just came here for my sisters 16th birthday and we drove here from fresno. It was well worth the time, and we got plenty of food for the price. Usually tea places leave you feeling hungry with their tiny sandwhiches-- this was not the case here with their healthy portions. I got the Duchesses Delight and switched out the tea for English Breakfast. The tea was of superb quality, to the point where we bought 3/4 of the teas we tried. I could not recommend this place more.

This is a lovely place to sit and have tea. Tea choices and snacks are excellent. I have a friend with special needs (she uses a wheelchair) and they couldn't have been more kind or helpful. For those who noticed that the tea service or utensils didn't match, that is in fact part of the experience. A matched set is not the purpose - this is like sitting in your British aunt's parlor for a nice cuppa. One note, from a person who lived in Europe and visited the UK often: milk should always be poured into the cup first, then the tea. This prevents the milk from scalding and heating unevenly. There are many discussions about this in the UK, so for entertainment you can go look this up on the web. :)
