Review Taqueria Milagro - San Jose

Came for Sunday lunch, establishment was clean and bustling with various groups. Service was quick and staff were amicable. The sangría was great, the shrimp michelada was okay. Nothing special about the food and priced fairly high relative to other places. The green salsa was fantastic, chicken tamale and enchilada were filling. Rice and beans were the rigmarole of Mexican restaurants.

Pick up staff was courteous and professional. Food was pretty good but they didn't have a very good menu for Vegans just maybe vegetarians. The fajitas were mostly bell peppers and onions. The beans were refried not whole beans. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but parking is extremely limited.

Taqueria Milagro is my go to Mexican food spot in Willow Glen area. Parking sucks as it’s shared with other businesses. There’s street parking along Lincoln and very limited parking in the residential neighborhood. My go to is the Super Shrimp Chevelas (other mixed cocktails appear to be made by mixer vs craft) and the grilled shrimp are fantastic. Followed up by a combo, nacho fries or fajitas and I’m a happy camper. Prices reasonable and I don’t usually have to wait long for a seat. The place can be quite large with a good place for groups. COVID caused a remodel by the looks of things and the large room with bar has rarely been open. Bathrooms are clean.

Stopped by for dinner last night for the first time. I had lots of friends recommend it but somehow had never been there. Wish I had been there earlier. The food was delicious!! Starting with homemade warm tortilla chips and yummy salsa. I was sold on this restaurant already! Our family had a burrito (daughter said it was amazing), carne asada dish (super tasty), carne en su jugo (first time trying this dish and will order again!) and a taco al pastor. I wish we had taken photos but we were hungry and the food was delicious so no time for that. The restaurant ambiance is very nice (not sure why it’s called a Taqueria because it is way nicer than a taqueria) with tasteful decorations. The plates they use are very nice too. Service was great. Overall 5 stars!!

We drive by this place all the time so finally stopped in for lunch. It’s good and staff is nice. I like the fact the food is not overly salty. It’s weird that the cheese sauce stayed melted even the food was cold. Never seen this before. The flavor is good and overall would try again.

The food is amazing! The food is so flavorful and the portions are great! You get chips and salsa which taste fresh every time. The mole is my favorite enchilada even though I liked all 3. The beans and rice are on point!👌🏼.

8.4/10 I got the carne asada super burrito. It came with rice, sour cream, guac, and pico de gallo. Everything inside the burrito had great flavor and can taste all of the flavors. The tortilla had a nice crisp to it from being warmed up, and the burrito wasn't dry and very juicy. However, the meat was a little chewy and the rice could have been just a bit better, while the pico de gallo, at certain points, gave the burrito a certain aftertaste. The burrito is a little small. The green sauce also is one of the best I've had. Overall, the food was great

The tacos are amazing and I saw a lot of other good things but we were for the tacos. The guacamole was amazing too !!

We tried carne-asada chimichanga. The food was good. A good portion of meat. Friendly service and clean tables. Probably will visit again to try something else.

We love Milagro. Great taqueria, small family run business and right on Lincoln. They have the take out system down and everything was ready on time. The food was just as good as eating in and in love their mole and substitute carnitas. The al pastor is the best. Grateful to have them as part of the community.
